The Sight and Sound mentioned below contains the track '... Cher O Bowlies' the only time I've ever heard it. I will MP3 is since the WAV file is huge !

it's a sad shame that so many of today's indie kids are completely unaware of what a truly great band the Undertones were (or the Buzzcocks for that matter). They've got a lovely treat in store when they finally get to hear them. Your site might just be the little push they need. Cheers

Four members of the greatest band of all time reformed to play two numbers at the end of a Saw Doctors gig in Galway Ireland on 17 July 1999. Feargal Sharkey was the only absentee. Talked positively of doing so again.

I am a long time Undertones fan but rather new to the Internet. This has restored my faith in humanity I thought I was the only one left that liked good music.please e-mail me with any news of the Undertones and anyone in Glasgow especially. I would also be interested in getting concert footage on video. Cheers!

‘tones fan since 1978 when aged 13 me and my mate were persuaded by much cool 16 year old punk-type older kid to go and see the Rezillos 6 Bristol Colston Hall. Great to find your site and so many people still interested in the band. Mates snigger sympathetically when they get in my car and hear the usual Undertones/buzzcocks/clash/ram ones/etc compilation tapes. How Sad Am I?!

I should explain that the Colston Hall Rezillos gig mentioned below was part of the "great Disaster Tour" as it became known and didn't feature the Rezillos who had just split but a way ropey punk/drudge band called Chelsea who were crap. And the Undertones.

Thanks a million for helping me slip back twenty years to the last year of school! The Undertones were simply the greatest band around and I listen to the songs regularly even now. I`d be really happy to swap mail with anyone about chocolate girls or Mars Bars! Seeya.

A while ago I was at a club in Brighton and an amazing song came on. I went to ask the Dj what it was and it was 'my Perfect Cousin'. I'm only 18 so I'm too young to remember the Undertones but after hearing this song I bought the Undertones Greatest Hits album and I have completely fallen in love with all their songs. I'm so glad I have discovered one of the best bands ever!

Feargal Sharkey looked like a skeleton in the early years but he's fabulous any way and i love him dearly

About the Galway gig they also played later that night in a hotel in Salthill Galway. I managed to get tickets and I brought a camera! Pictures available somewhere on my (underdeveloped) website: http:/www.allesklar.freeserve.co.uk/cr ickleweb/events/undertones/index.htm They played 7 Undertones hits then played them all again for luck fantastic! Great site keep it up!
