Nostalgia,nostalgia.Last night when I went to vote, I had to go to my old school to do it.First time I'd been inside the grounds since the summer of '77.The office where we had to vote was the old Head Masters room,GULP! Then I walked round to the playground where we used to play very serious tennis ball football.I passed the corridor where Mr Wilson gave me the slipper and then the playing fields that I'd stare at in a daydream during Maths.Nothing had changed,it was wierd.

Hi Cliff and all: Documentary going really well, we are nearly finished what's called the OFFLINE version. It runs at 73 minutes which will be the feature version. We then have to cut this to 40mins for the BBC showing.

I have to go to my sons school to vote and also found myself gazing around but probably more worrying than Cliff I found myself looking at the playing field that they have which is rare these days in Birmingham, remembering the football pitch at my own junior school all those years ago, which has long since been replaced by the usual "temporary" extra classrooms, and thinking "wouldn't it be nice to be back at school".
