It depends on how many it holds and how much drink you're providing!!

Vinny the most popular independent theaters here in Southern California are the Nuart in West Los Angeles and the Llamle theaters. See the link for information about your film. If possible could I get it in 3/4 inch tape form for my own purposes??? Please Please Please???

This weekend is of course June 9th/10th, can you believe the fiddler/fleadh was a year ago? What were everybody's highlights of last year? Firstly for me, it was Derry on June 2nd.The whole day, meeting John O'Neill and being on the radio, but then seeing them perform again after so many years. The following week at the fiddler was actually more emotional for me, I was so pleased that they'd got a full house and a great welcome in England. But the most abiding memory was "my perfect cousin" on the first night at the Olympia in Dublin. It seemed like every single one of the 1200 odd there were singing it together,it was spine tingling. So how about the rest of you?

Lindsay on 05:50 2nd-Dec-00 GMT #ec0-5043
Yes Cliff, one year exactly, unfortunately we're all one year older too - have we got more sensible with age? Of course not! The highlights for me were wearing my t-shirt with pride at the Fleadh and seeing each band member in turn appear on the stage then meeting lots of .netters in London (not forgetting fighting with Paul over Cliff's t-shirt!) before hearing all those great songs again. However, the best thing has been simply discovering this excellent webside (thank you CMoS) and knowing there are so many others out there who care.

Donald on 05:50 2nd-Dec-00 GMT #a1f-5044
Is it really a year since The Fleadh . Seeing the band I never thought I would see again, walking on stage to such a fantastic reception was unforgettable. I just couldn't stop smiling for that hour and for the rest of the night. Dublin was a brilliant weekend and just so good to see so many people who felt the same way about The Undertones. I have never heard singing like it. Without this website I might have not even known about the gigs and not realised there are other obsessives with perfect musical taste out there.

Did anybody else see it? talk about good timing on my part! I turned on the TV,flicking through the channels. The famous Ronnie Radford goal for Hereford against Newcastle with the equally famous pitch invasion that followed. It was shown coz virtually all the fans wore parkas and Noddy Holder was commentating in the background about how popular they were in 1973, then.....Feargal comes on singing "Jimmy Jimmy" and Holder says "6 years later parkas were still popular as this clip of Feargal Sharkey shows" and they continued to play another minute of the great song.

A year to the day that I met Derek at the Mean Fiddler for the first time since 1983 and we recognised each other. Also put a face to Dave who I had previously contacted and of course met Cliff, CMoS and CR for the first time. Before the year was out I had also met a few more contributors to the site. Hopefully I will get to meet a few more in the months to come. After all these years got to go to Derry, Belfast and Dublin for the first time ever. Now want to see some concerts in Holland to meet Julius and possibly New York for Christmas. I thoroughly enjoyed all the concerts as expected. Not disappointed with Paul replacing Feargal. Acquired new T-Shirts with the promise of more to come. Think the site is brilliant and am very grateful to the time and effort that CMoS must spend.

I went to an excellent gig last night. It was Raymond Gorman's birthday bash. He played an excellent set of his Wavewalkers songs abley abetted by Damien O'Neill on Guitar, Ciaran McLaughlin on Drums and Brendan Kelly on Bass, basically the last line up of the Petrol's minus Steve Mack. We were also treated to a reworked groovy version of "Abandon" and for the encore and mean dirty version of the Stooges "Down on the Street." Earlier on Ray joined the support band for a grab bag of covers which included "Sheena is a punk rocker.", "Did you no wrong." Radiohead's "Just." and a suprising version of Thin Lizzy's "Lil' Darlin'." Excellent stuuf it was, I still cannot understand why nobody will give Ray a record deal! The guy's songs really shine.

My neighbour (approx 45) was doing some work for us on the outside of our house today. He had to go to the garage(where the banner is hanging) and then work outside the spare bedroom (several gig posters hanging). When he'd finished he said " your obviously a fan of the Undertones!" I asked if he knew anything about them and he said the usual "my cousin Kevin!"(they all say that dont they!)and is Feargal still with them.He turned out to be a big fan of "the eagles","yes" and "genesis" and he confirmed he likes songs that last a minimum of 10 minutes.Otherwise he's a good bloke!

Donald on 05:50 2nd-Dec-00 GMT #d3a-5051
I hope you're house has thick walls Cliff.

VINNY on 05:50 2nd-Dec-00 GMT #518-5052

Dave R on 05:50 2nd-Dec-00 GMT #497-5053
Apologies if any of this is a repeat of what’s been posted earlier, but to confirm this year’s shows so far: July 22nd - Earagail Arts Festival, Letterkenny August 5th - West Belfast Festival, Belfast August 12th - Gasyard Festival, Derry As far as recording is concerned, they are trying a few things out but it's a long way from a "recording".

Cliff on 05:50 2nd-Dec-00 GMT #ea2-5054
Thank's Dave, thats 100% then? coz the Letterkenny hadn't been confirmed and we didn't have a date for Belfast.
