Wilke - lobster, arrow AND T-shirt - are you trying to outdo us all! Lindsay on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #a88-5131 Cliff, I'm sugar and spice and all things nice (and as modest as Donald!) but sadly no longer a teenager. Why would anyone want to drink under a table - it's much more comfortable in a chair in my experience! ©® on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #918-5132 Happy birthday Rick, but lay off the vodka, you're getting emotional... Steve on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #b81-5133 Lee, Plenty of places to take a good photo down in Cornwall, for starters there's all the Stone Circles (e mail me and I'll let you know where a few of them are.) Goonhilly Downs next to all the Massive B.T satellite dishes. The Monkey sanctuary near Mevagissy, in the Tate gallery at St. Ives....the list goes on. Belated Happy Birthday to the first pensioner on this site....Cliff! Happy Birthday Rick, your never to young to rock'n'roll! Julius on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #427-5134 Happy Birthday Rick & Cliff, there is a saying in Holland "life starts at 40" so that is one positive point at least and Rick you still have got two years to pogo!!! Donald on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #b90-5135 Any Spread the Word ideas for Greece - lobster is safely packed for tomorrow, but its a hard act to follow - Berlin wall, little mermaid, Arc de triumph, coliseum. Maybe the tired lobster just needs to chill out on a beach with a large cocktail after all that travelling. George on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #bff-5136 If you are going to Athens Donald you can always try and rebuild the Parthenon for the lobster shot, or perhaps a fishing village with real lobsters. Lindsay on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #9ff-5137 Have a good holiday Donald (lucky you) - go easy on the Ouzo and take the Factor 30 for the lobster (and the 300 for yourself). Trust you have personal stereo and Undertones tapes packed (and spare plates!!). Come back soon. Donald on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #b90-5138 There can be a 'Spread the Word' competition -spot the difference the lobster and me. Now where's that factor 300 and my knotted hankie. doninblack on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #709-5139 Donald, don't forget your parka and your doc martins. If you see Tom Conti, stick the lobster on him. Have a good one. Arthur on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #c60-5140 The only public transport running between Belfast and Dublin Airport is the bus. I'm very certain that the last bus is around 6pm from Belfast on a Sunday with the first bus being at 7.45am - journey time approx 3 hours. Beware relying on the web as I found the information on there to be out of date. CMoS on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #a5b-5141 prospective cornwall lobsterificatiosn - Gweek (seal sanctuary) - Poldark Mine - bodmin prison Lindsay on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #f6a-5142 What's happened to your STW photos Arthur? Lee on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #fb0-5143 Looks like there are things to do in Cornwall then. Copenhagen watching WBA still sounds better though. But then thoughts of Greek holidays from years gone by float through my memory banks. Can't remember which island we went to but on one holiday we arrived, unpacked and wandered off to sample the local bars as you do. First night traditionally was - fit in as many bars as you can and then pick a few favourites to keep revisiting. So we pick our first bar, sit down and along comes the bar manager. This was a few hours before we planned to eat so when asked what we would like to drink I decided not to get too full too early so went for an Ouzo. A couple of minutes later back comes the manager with the biggest bottle you have ever seen and says just help yourself and we will settle up when you've finished. I think it was something like a 10 litre bottle. We had a couple of Ouzo's each but obviously this made no impression whatsoever on this bottle. For some unknown reason it was just too embarrassing to call the manager over until we thought we had made some sort of inroad into this bottle but still wanted to do a bit of a local tour to check out other bars so the only way was to down a few more glasses pretty quickly. An hour on and the first sign of there being a small amount of air at the neck of the bottle we decided to call the manager over who charged us some ridiculously small value for what must have been quite a lot of alcohol. Stepped outside but then the air hits you and the empty stomach and - well as you can probably guess I have no recollection of what else went on that night, which is rare for me as I can usually remember most things even when lots of beer is flowing. Enjoy Greece Donald but make sure you eat before you go out. Lee on 05:51 8th-Dec-00 GMT #fb0-5144 Wow - that last posting was a bit long wasn't it. Sorry for boring you all with my little recollections.
