Bryan.I'm sure you're a very nice guy and it's nice to know you have such good taste to look at this website. However if The "great" Undertones are not involved in this gig then frankly we do not give a damn.Have a nice day.

Wilke, I will contact you nearer the time regarding the pick-up point but I think the best place would be somewhere in the centre of town. Talk to ya later.

Coach Update: 12 seats gone now. I've decided to put 20 people only on the 24 seater coach. (1) To make it more comfortable and (2) to leave room for the bar on the coach!! 20 seatsx£5.00=£100 and then we can do a collection for the driver. It's traditional here, probably in England too?

Getting a bit jealous reading you lot making all those travel-appointments. message for ADRIAN: what exactly are you going to do with U2 on tour: the Dutch concert by U2 are just a few 100 yards from my place of work!! I might be know as a Clash-cynical but The Cost of Living EP is absolutely classic, just as the London Calling LP!!! Now for some Bunnymen-experince: they made some classic tracks: like Villiers terrace on the 1st Lp or "The back of Love" single, but I went to 3 concerts by this band: the first concert was in Amsterdam, starting time: 2230 and the band decided to come on stage not before midnight(probably enjoying the tourist spots in Amsterdam!!!). most of us had to catch the last train at 0030. the second concert was at the same club in Amsterdam, we had arranged overnight stay in Amsterdam a very wise choice coz they came on stage a t 2 AM the 3rd concert was in my hometown Utrecht: the club was sold out with 1200 people waiting but their lorry was so enormous it could not pass the last bridge over the canal, this meant 90 feet of extra walking for the crew and they refused to pack the equipment out of the truck and so did the band! They let 1200 fans out in the cold. We could all leave without a gig, what a cold shower and my opinion about this band was set for ever. I think this would never ever have happened with the Undertones. As far as I know the Shop Assistants issued one album only and a few singles(album tracks) with non-album tracks on the B-side. I think this whole lot was released on a CD a couple of years ago, but this is a very rare CD as I have never seen it anywhere...The Shop Assistants toured Holland intensively with a couple of mates of mine called The Avengers. The Shop Assistants were a great live band, 3 girls and one bloke from Edinburgh(You know them Donald) and the album is very good indeed!!! My mates got a mention on the sleeve of the LP!!

Does anyone know the title of the new Ash-single with Teenage Kicks on the B-side and is Teenage Kicks available on all formats??? Talking about covers, does anyone know more Undertones-covers, besided this U.S. compilation CD???? I have got a CD-single by the Saw Doctors with a live version of Teenage Kicks with Michael Bradley playing as well!!!

LATEST NEWS FROM SWEDEN, from my friend Sten: At the top of the Swedish charts right now: 'Sheena is a punk rocker'!!! Yes, in a pop version by a Swedish girl group band called Shebang. The summer hit of this year I would say! It's very good, but can't - of course - be compared to Ramones.

Vinny Vinny Vinny, where can I get yer email address. I contacted BT and asked them "do you have Vinnys email address, from the web", no surprise they couldnt help me and you would think them being the largest communication company in the world they would have known it (I am switching to cable). Vinny I was wondering who you were as well because I always remember 2 Vinnys and after going to your website I seen your name, so you are BIG VINNY (havent seen ye in years). I was telling a friend about this site (she's from donegal and doesnt know who The Undertones are) and mentioned that some bloke called Vinny is arranging a concert bus, guess what? She knew it was you straight away, beats me.
