Julius- the only reason I listen to Limp Bizkit is because I want too and NOT because of "U.S. marketing managers".

Donald on ? GMT #ef9-5581
Claire - you should Listen To Your Father (pun intended), he is a very wise man.Limp Bizkit are bedwetting skatepunks that shout too much and wear badly fitting trousers. I haven't heard of 'Strokes'but I'll look out for them. My tip for the top is Gloss with 'New York Boy'. Great pop tune -a bit like Blondie when they were good. The first time I heard it, I was just about to stop my car and I sat there until the song finished so I could hear who it was.A while since Ive done that.Still vv depressed I'm not going to Derry.

Lee the VCD is sort of explained fm the 2 links at the bottom of this link. The Bittersweet is Kosher this time - it sued to end with the CLasdh playing Tommy Gun on SOmethig else but there wasnt enough room

Wise father on ? GMT #9ba-5583
I think Liam is going to have his hands full with Claire when she gets older. A bit of a rebel there, not listening to her father. I am sure twenty-odd years ago we all did exactly as our parents told us. Turn that horrible music down/off. You're not going out dressed like that. Funny how life goes round in circles

Talking of TOTP 2 last night. There I was enjoying the programme when they caught me unawares and finished with the 2001 Prefab Sprout version of "cowboy dreams".(I mean he actually DOES say "yippee-eye-aye" and more than once)Even the drummer looked like he was falling asleep.

Lee @ on ? GMT #fb0-5585
CMoS - definitely interested in the VCD. Will be away for 2 weeks but if any are going spare put one aside for me please.

Lee on ? GMT #fb0-5586
CMoS - sorry - should have said the Bittersweet VCD - you sent me the Rockpalast previously.

Lee on ? GMT #fb0-5587
Didn't like to admit it when Cliff first mentioned it but I have all the Prefab Sprout albums - shock horror ! I liked a few of their early stuff and then they made a good album just as their popularity waned hits wise not that they ever had many big hits so I just kept buying their albums when they were released. Cowboy Dreams and "Yippee-eye-aye" gets better or worse whichever way you look at it on the latest album. It closes with a track called Farmyard Cat - the chorus of which is Farmyard Cat.....Farmyard Cat....Mi Mi aow. My 6 year old likes it ! Will send you a copy if you want Cliff.

I wish I had time to get on the net more often rather than just sending message after message while taking a 10 minute lunch break ! Went for a meal last weekend and the background music in the restaurant played Feargal's Loving You. It was good to hear his voice unexpectedly and I've not played his solo stuff for maybe 10-12 years.

Oh yes pleeeeaaaaaasssssseeeee Lee.I need a CD in the garden as apparently when they catch the sun it scares the cats away(did I really say that? oh yeah,I'm 40 now so its okay)

Cliff on ? GMT #43c-5590
I heard "A good heart" down the snooker hall a couple of nights ago."Loving You" is a great song.

Cliff on ? GMT #43c-5591
I recieved an e-mail from a Canadian guy who asked me if the t-shirt prices on the "Antiquities" page(the original Rockin' Humdingers price list @ £2 each)were still available today??!!

Cliff on ? GMT #43c-5592
I'd agree with Liam's views about The Ramones and Johnny Cash, but he seems to have forgotten; The Motels,Hagfish,Blondie,Buddy Holly,The Carpenters,Simon & Garfunkle,Neil Diamond, and even Madonna.

George on ? GMT #9ba-5593
I've just won the father's day race at my daughters school. I asked the headmaster to lengthen the course from approx 50 metres to about 80 metres to improve my chances. I caught the early leader with about 10 metres to go. I won a bottle of wine which being teetotal I donated straight back to the schools end of term teachers party. I had planned to wear one of Cliff's T-Shirt designs but they are all in the wash. The only Undertones T-Shirt available was from The Vibe concert last year and the bands name is printed too small so unfortunately chose not too. I'm disappointed to be missing the 5 a-side football before the Letterkenny gig. Hopefully there can be a pre-concert knock about at all the gigs.

Paul McLoone (VTU) on ? GMT #7fd-5594
I would just like to say that I like Prefab Sprout. Paddy Mc Aloon is a fine songwriter, and I found both he and his brother Martin to be diamond geezers when I met them at the Fleadh. So there.
