Yep,August 13th is another 'tones Birthday and coincidently that other bloke who used to the singer many moons ago. Cliff on ? GMT #86f-5671 On my two previous visits to Derry I've never made it as far as that smart looking shopping centre, with the huge Celtic "superstore"(whatever happened to club shops?).Is there a Man Utd shop also? and how about W.B.A. or Wimbledon? Superstore on ? GMT #9ba-5672 I'd be surprised if there was a superstore for WBA and Wimbledon in their hometown let alone Derry. I know there is a Man Utd superstore in Dublin. Hugh on ? GMT #64f-5673 The Celtic shop in Derry is in Bishop's Street-not in a shopping centre. The entrance to the huge Foyleside Shopping Centre is right on the spot where The Casbah used to stand. Donald on ? GMT #67d-5674 Nice pics Jackie. Good tunes with brass from the 80's onwards. Beck's 'sex laws' and thats about it.I would be quite happy to be going to Letterkenny, Derry or Belfast as long as i was seeing the Undertones. Sadly, its not to be, this time anyway. talking of the 80s on ? GMT [firefly.sparse.org/~mrt/] #d86-5675 sad as this may seem......if you are a fan of the A Team and Mr T inparticular......vivit the link and type in the URL of this web site to view it in "Mr T Speak" Cliff on ? GMT #c1f-5676 You cheeky beggar.Albion averaged 14,500 2 seasons ago when they only escaped relegation on the last day of the season. After 16 years of not getting remotely close to the premiership and not even the sniff of a decent cup run,our support has kept constant.I wonder what the likes of Chelsea,Everton,Sunderland or Newcastle would average in the same situation? George on ? GMT #9ba-5677 Due to ground changes the old Roker Park would not be allowed to hold 14500 these days. The Stadium of Light holds 48000, has had 33000 for a reserve game but must admit after a couple of seasons of relative mediocrity let alone 16 years I would expect the attendances to plummet, particularly if outside the premiership. Being in the premier league is certainly worth several thousand on the gate to see some of the overpaid one footed prima-donnas masquerading as footballers. nod and a wink on ? GMT [www.ween.com] #d86-5678 try this - audio downloads available - parental guidance advised re lyrics Cliff on ? GMT #1ee-5679 It wasn't long ago George that Sunderland were getting around the 15,000 mark. They should be commended on their season ticket deals, works out at £8 per game I believe? Donald on ? GMT #e46-5680 Who is ashamed of being a Ween fan - 'nod and a wink' reveal yourself! A friend of mine rarely leaves the house without his Ween 'The Pod' LP , just in case its needed. Shopaholic on ? GMT #58e-5681 Did someone mention a shopping centre in Derry? See you all later then... Jackie on ? GMT #455-5682 The black tshirt had HYPNOTISED in red on the back Cliff- I know because I used to have one, they did originally have sleeves, but Damian cut them off as was his wont, to show off his muscley(?) arms (!)And I knew he wore it inside out too as well as wearing his watch on the right wrist which I do to this day (and you thought you lot were sad!) Jackie on ? GMT #455-5683 The other DON t-shirt had a picture of Ronald Reagan on it picking his nose with 'Who picked this man?' underneath- very political eh?Also the sleeveless variety. Lindsay on ? GMT #c11-5684 I remember the watch on the right wrist too Jackie and the way he writes with his hand bent over (like most men who are left handed). Sorry chaps, this is girlie chat!
