VINNY on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #750-5730
The pick-up point for the 'gig of the year' that is the Termon Hall gig will be at 7pm on Sunday sharp, outside the rates office in Foyle Street, which is just across the street from Sandino's bar. Try to be on time as there will be valuable drinking hours at stake.

VINNY on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #750-5731
By the way, drink is allowed on the bus, so for those of you who may have weak kidneys, please remember to bring your own plastic bag. I am reliably informed that Woolworths bags are quite good for this purpose!!

Donald on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #dec-5732
Depressed about not going to Derry, I was cheered up by this review of a post Sex Pistols punk compilation album in this months Uncut, Simon Goddard writes :- 'Come those tracks bearing a 1980 date stamp you can almost smell punk's rotting corpse. Thank God, then, for The Undertones magnificent ode to 'Mars Bars' for saving this tracklisting, if not punk itself'.Enjoy the weekend and the band that saved the world.

Cliff on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #f8a-5733
See you there Vinny

Time to visit the garage, take down the banner and get out the "Mr sheen".Hasn't really sunk in that I'm going tomorrow,it's been 7 looooooong months.

Cliff on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #bbd-5735
The "classic" design t-shirt(2 red arrows on black shirt)is now available again for the handful of people that have asked over the last few months.I'll also have a few with me in Derry along with the lobster design.

Cliff on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #bbd-5736
Those of you on the coach with weak kidneys, fear not as t-shirts are supplied WITH plastic bag so you could kill two birds with one stone.(no,I don't mean Lindsay and Jackie).

Just requested information from the Termon Hall concerning alcohol consumption and guess what.....there's no bar in the hall and worse still, no alcohol is allowed to be taken in. All the more reason to make sure we all arrive at the pick-up point on Sunday at 7pm sharp to allow for valuable drinking time in Termon. P.S. Don't forget your carryout!!

CMoS on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #a5b-5738
Best of luck Lobstergators - remember drink beer - eat breakfast - watch tones.

Hugh on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #6a5-5739
If you had gone to DERRY you could have had a drink walked to the show, had another drink after. I'm jealous, I wish I was going. I'll contain myself til August. That's the scariest shower scene since Psycho. I think it's Mickey. have a great time amongst the Culshies-ask Vinny what that means.

Arthur on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #d12-5740
Yes George - I'm going on the 5th. E - mail me with your travel arrangements and we'll meet up (if I get time). Met with Lindsay and Alastair last night who should be wending their way up the coast road as we speak. I'm half minded to drive up on Sunday after work but it really depends on the baby. Enjoy all!!!

Have a great trip & gig everybody, It feels like one of those Old black and white war films where soldiers are waved off on the railway platform by their sweethearts, many never to return...and those who do, are changed forever by what they've seen. So, quite similar really.

Mad Geordie on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #455-5742
Cross I'm not going-hopefully there'll be hourly updates on important things like what the boys are wearing etc!

Dee on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #29f-5743
Hourly up-dates from the Termon Hall, that's a laugh. It really is out in the sticks. Modern technology hasn't reached this part of the world yet. The town where time stood still comes to mind.

Julius on 05:57 17th-Jan-01 GMT #d06-5744
Saw Ash on TOTP, was Tim Wheelr wearing a T-shirt with I hate...the Beatles or what did it say???? Me I would have worn a Lobster-shirt or I hate...not being in Letterkenny. Where is the report from the Letterkenny Internet Pub???
