Teenage Kicks got played on the Heaven and Earth show this morning on a feature about John Peel. These concert updates are few and far between. Has nobody got a laptop with them. Have had to make do tonight with watching the Athletics on BBC2 wearing an Undertones T-shirt. I hope Cliff has arrived OK today. Cliff knows the standard of gig review that is expected. My guess is that they are right now encoring in Letterkenny or have the usual after-gig hangover: you feel tired, sweaty and thirsty but feel happy for what happened before, sort of cold turkeye!! Any new songs got played? Just palyed my Ooops-CD, hard-core punk from Belfast with "naughty" but straightforward lyrics and latest offering from Terry Hooley! Great stuff to play on this night

Well we've just had the Undertones play here comes the summer from TOTP on BBC1 on a programme about Summer Holiday songs. Lindsay would have been in her element as it followed straight on from the Bay City Rollers.

Just tried ringing Cliffs mobile to get a gig update but he has left it at home. Apologies to Doina for disturbing her. 'See That Girl' sounded great tonite on coach, sang by 10 Derrymen and started by one line from Cliff at front of coach to Derry.We really made sure that the first stop in Derry was your B+B

Liam is it possible for you to provide more detail please. Did they play any new material? Jackie will want to know if Damian still looks as cute as ever. Was it a full set? Who were the support bands if any? How did the rest of the gang cope with being in a non-alcohol establishment? Did you get to meet the band? Did you see the soundcheck? I know these are all minor details but they did add to the build up to the whole event until we get to see Cliff and or Lindsay's full report.
