Have just e-mailed BBC TOTP site asking for the Undertones to be played on TOTP2 in week with 13th August. Don't know if they take "requests" though. Perhaps if they were inundated with requests.

Julius on ? GMT #20a-5881
Arthur and Cliff and CR made spot-on remarks, nothing to add. Only, it is a spooky site coz I was just reading Arthur mentioning Half man Half Biscuit and I was just playing their track on the NME C86 LP..... I think Derry treats their stars the same as us Dutch do. I lived in the same neighbourhood as Marco van Basten and he wasn't treated too well either. Whatever you may think about Bryan Adams it is an other chance for many people in Derry to see and witness what great band came out of this city!!!

Julius - would you be able to make it to Dublin do you think?? Linus and Donna - it was great meeting you all too! I must say this site is very educational - just looked up 'tomes' in the dictionary and it means book/volume which in simple terms Cliff means if you write a lot it will go under your own 'contributors' page. Am I right CMoS?

CMoS on ? GMT #a5b-5883
I used the TOME to describe more than 100 words of text e.g. them blessed tax returns - keep em up though Cliff cos you can sniff the atmosphere from your great words. I'll just rename the last gig so we're all clear

Here's hoping Vinny's film reaches a wide audience and is easy accessible. Funny CMoS should mention tax returns. My company had its first Inland Revenue inspection in the 23 years I have been here on Tuesday gone. What made it more significant is that my boss for the last 14 years only retired three weeks earlier, so my new boss had all the panicking. Have a free airshow to attend this weekend. They reckon they get half a million visitors on both days, so I will be wearing my Undertones T-shirts with pride this weekend in front of a million people.

Any news of a bus to the West Belfast gig.

Dee on ? GMT #d12-5886
Come on, who's up for organising a bus to the Belfast gig. Even id it was only a mini-bus it would still be a good nights crack..... By the way, I had an excellent night's entertainment at the Termon gig, both on the bus and in the hall.

Dee on ? GMT #d12-5887
Liam why don't you organise the bus this time? You would be sure most of the crowd that went on the Termon bus would go to Belfast!

Donald on ? GMT #79e-5888
Enjoy the gigs next week folks, I'm off on hols for a week to Islay. I can see Ireland from there on a clear day so I expect to see the whole country shaking on the 5th.

VINNY on ? GMT #29f-5889
If there were enough people interested in going on the bus to Belfast I'll arrange it but I doubt as I've said before. It was hard enough getting the 18 for the bus to Termon. That bus cost 130(I think we all paid £8 inc tip)but Belfast would be a lot more expensive. Let me know.

VINNY on ? GMT #29f-5890
Apparently the gig is at 8pm so we'd have to leave Derry at 6pm. My guess is a coach would cost approx £250. With say 18 again that would be about £15 a head inc tip? Bear inmind that the Gasyard Feile is the following week, £2 to get in and no bus!! I'm going to Belfast and so are some others but as for 18?

Henry @ on ? GMT #5f9-5891
Looks like a humdinging Christmas in Dublin could be occuring - I shall have to economise on the pressies this year. There was/is a rumour that about a Galway Gig as well at some point which would also tempt me. (By the way my Bag has finally been returned).

Feargal Sharkey on ? GMT #29f-5892
Can someone send me a VCD of the latest gigs, I would like to see how Paul is doing?

VINNY on ? GMT #29f-5893
Apparently there's a review of the Termon gig in the DONEGAL DEMOCRAT this week? Any Donegal heads out there willing to scan and submit?

Cliff on ? GMT #cb2-5894
So the luggage saga is finally over Henry! Did it have stickers on it from all over the world? Hope you can make Dublin, that could be the one that a lot of us on here can aim for to ALL meet up.
