My apologises to Cliff, Arthur, Derek and any one else who were at the West Belfast Show. I know we made some classic howlers. I can assure you that this wasn't the intention. I felt that we let the crowd down and I certainly had a horrible feeling of failure. We did have problems with on the on stage sound. It was fine during the sound check and some how it changed during the actual set. At least I had a click track driving in my earphones and I knew that the boys in the band weren't hearing the beat, it was drifting in and out of time and it all got very messy. We didn't have our regular monitor person, Cookie. He was working at Wittness. Once again my apologises. Sorry if this is an old one, but what does Feargal mumble at the end of "Here Comes the Summer"?

Hi everyone, sorry about what was a substandard show.It is virtually impossible to stay tight if some of the band simply can't hear a thing on stage. My own theory is that the monitor system may have been a bit small for the P.A. But please, I must protest at any suggestion of complacency-that would be a gross disservice to all you guys, as well as ourselves.Anyway, no excuses- the next one will be a lot better, I promise. By the way Roy- I think it's "My record's stuck". I leave that bit out.
