Dave - great Feargal article

Great articles Arthur and Dave and nice pics Lee. The gig sounds a corker and its nice to see they are appreciated in their home town at last. I suppose you often dont appreciate whats in your own back yard. At least after 20years the band are realising how good they were/are - about bloody time!Wednesday week would have definitely gone higher if it hadnt been for the BBC strike. They used to repaet songs on TOTP every 2 weeks as long as they were still climbing the chart. WW did just that and then TOTP wasnt shown when they were due to be on and I remember clearly how upset I was about the unfairness of it all.A higher placing and more exposure would have certainly increased the exposure and lessened the 'novelty band' idea that arose from My Perfect Cousin and Mars Bars.

Blimey you lot do like a natter! I love 2My Perfect Cousin" its a good ol' foot stomping, football chanting, who cares about the serious stuff, sort of a song.I often hear,"did they make that song my cousin Kevin?".Great review Arthur, I asked months ago if anybody knew what the talking was in the background of "I gotta getta?"...and now I know.

Just booked the flights for Cork and Dublin. Can't stop now baby crying in the background and got to keep up the brownie points.

I think My perfect Cousin is a great tune but the point I was trying to make is that there is a lot more to the Undertones than 'novelty/funny records which is what a lot of people seem to think.I am preaching to the converted here and you all know that so Ill shut up.Any other tips on how to get brownie points greatly appreciated (other than being nice to babies!). I am not Mr popular with other half having booked 3 days away Humdinging the week before Xmas when we have agreed to have most of the family at our house this year.

Lee, I've lost my love for football (temporarilly?).I'm fed up with the way it's going.I was recently doing interviews and when I told this guy who I supported he asked, "but who's your premiership team?"it says a lot about how people are being brainwashed.During a football phone-in show on the radio the other day a woman phoned to complain about the state of the toilets at Highbury!...is that what it's all about? I despair.

Does that gut Rory mean the Humdingers???!!

Jackie on ? GMT #455-6248

My perfect cousin did give the Human League the leg up they needed

Jackie - if you're going to bunk off work on the sick - DIAORRHEA works every time, particularly oif you go into some detail. Hope this helps - must run.

You spelt it wrong- I just use the other phrase! Good idea though. Off to see Cats and Dogs to keep my neglected kids happy- bet its not as good as Shrek. Oh yeah and to go back to Woolies to complain ,as I bought the Ash Cd and the dopey assistant didnt put the Cd in the sleeve. So still havent heard the maestro at work.

Oh my God - just checked the postings tally and am amazed to see I'm in the top 10 at no.8 with 184 postings. Must find something better to do with my time.

Just adding another posting to stop Rick catching me up as I lucky number 7 in the postings tally. If you need something better to do Rick you can always join the spread the word tour and have your photo taken holding a big red lobster in front of a famous/recognisable building.
