Poor John must've been hard up as he's playing amians guitar! ebay on ? GMT #9ba-6271 Box set of CDs avaialable for £10 on auction site George on ? GMT #9ba-6272 Have received confirmation from Globetrotters for my booking of 8 beds on Thursday 20th December. I have 5 definites so far - Derek, Cliff, Wilke, Donald and myself. There are 3 places left. Any takers? Can you please confirm ASAP. Look upon it as celebrating Xmas a week early! I believe Henry has already booked his own bed. Suppose I'll have to try and book my actual concert ticket now that everything else is organised. Donald on ? GMT #e16-6273 A mate of mine (not Tony Blackburn) may be coming so can you pencil a bed in for him. I'll confirm asap.Bagsy on top! Jackie on ? GMT #455-6274 HURRAY-finally got the VCDs to play (for a fiver I'll tell you the secret) Never seen the Wednesday Week vid before-remember lobster stickers??! They came in yellow and white versions. Any chance of having some more made Cliff?? Not sure I like the Ash version of Kicks but you know who looked (and sounded) MINT! Lee on ? GMT #10d-6275 Cliff - sad isn't it. All my football programmes have the changes to the teams written on them and all my ticket stubs have who the support band were. Sadder still - the badges had the date of the gig written on them ! Lee on ? GMT #10d-6276 Jackie, I dug those photo's out and just cannot remember where they were taken. The background just adds to everything I think. Whatever it would have been a great night. I never saw a poor Undertones gig or a That Petrol Emotion gig - and I saw them about 15-20 times. Lee on ? GMT #10d-6277 CMoS - any VCD's left ? Lee on ? GMT #10d-6278 Good to see a mention of Edwyn Collins - another all time hero of mine. I remember a totally bizarre new years eve when the whole family went to bed by 11 and I was on my own hitting the shorts rather heavily as there was nothing else to do and Edwyn came on to play in the new year on Channel 5. What a start to a year. It was Channel 5's first year and I was probably the only person watching but they had Edwyn on and within 15 minutes they had an interview with that Scottish bloke who started the Lottery many years ago and Robert Smith of the Cure in a deserted cinema. New year - supposed to be some sort of celebration and I'm sat alone watching 2 people in a deserted cinema. A memory that's stuck with me for a few years - but I think within another 15 minutes I'd passed out as the shorts really took their toll. Next year I made sure it got better - went to a deserted pub with a few mates instead. In fact they are in the other room at the moment trying desparately not to play Teenage Kicks for me as they jam on a guitar and a keyboard but give me another 15 minutes and we'll be there. wilke @ on ? GMT #934-6280 Jackie, I went to loads of gigs (I stopped counting at 100) and to be honest unless there was a significant or unusual happening it is all a bit of a blur. Thats age for you. Don't forget it was the music and not the venue I was interested in. I do remember a gig with a really low stage, It was in complete contrast to a gig somewhere in Scotland which the stage was so high I clicked my neck out and walked around looking at the sky for two weeks. The point is I can't say whether I was at the gig, But the guys in the background of the photo do look familiar. Pete The Lurker on ? GMT #ebb-6281 Jackie, how did you get it to play? I messed around for ages, bur I don't rally know what I'm doing. Pete The Lurker on ? GMT #ebb-6282 & I can't spell either CMoS on ? GMT #a5b-6283 Lee - yes Jackie on ? GMT #455-6284 1 Make sure its in the right way.Blue side down! 2 Dont try the PS2-it'll never work. 3 Use your DVD drive on your Pc or where ever. It should come up automatically once you load the WinDVD program. 4 if you have win DVD open up(extend) the keypad which is like a telephone key pad with numbers on 5 Click on '1' 6 Quickly click on the play button (which is the triangle)at the bottom Sit back and enjoy it! This took me a whole afternoon. I got the title page but then nothing for ages until I realised you use the small control panel, the buttons above the large screen where they eventually play dont work. Hope this explanation is technically sound CMoS! A big Thanks for photos Lindsay. PS stage 4 took the longest!
