Musings
Yes, I enjoyed that.2 good tracks from The Moondogs, both had a 60's feel about them. Lindsay on ? GMT #3c1-6631 That's so true Cliff, no debate whatsoever - glad we've got that sorted out. Bit of 'teacher-type' domination here....George, try harder, look to see if you have Windows Media Player - it works fine on there. Donald, stop talking and pay attention! - follow the Moondogs link below and then choose 'sounds' (that's 's' for sugar, 'o' for orange, 'u' for undertone....) Maybe Jackie could do this better, I really don't have the patience for it. Donald on ? GMT #21e-6632 Thank you miss, sorry for being so naughty. Derek on ? GMT #2b7-6633 Is that where we're all going to go then? O'briens. Perhaps they give discount for large groups? Cliff on ? GMT #d62-6634 Might as well Derek, it's a decent size place.Remember last year we all sat round by that big Christmas tree boozing, ahh. After you lot went home we stayed on a few more days to see some sights. We went into O'Briens the night after the 'tones 2nd gig and the Xmas tree was gone? Was it there just for our benefit? Did the locals consider Xmas to be over once the 'tones had left town? Jackie on ? GMT #455-6635 Ah brilliant I needed to know that you lot are a sociable bunch. O Briens it is- I hope you will be there til the opening notes of Jimmy Jimmy and dont do anything wussy like watch the support band...though I guess we do have to be back to get to the front. I used to be an expert at trail blazing to the very front of gigs-didnt care who I elbowed in the face to get there...funnily enough I use the same tactics to get to the bar-works everytime! Sorry Lindsay-I too have no patience, especially with children! (and men) Jackie on ? GMT #455-6636 Did anyone see the Madonna gig on tv last night- I use the term gig loosly as it was just like a huge pantomime, her guitar playing was rather ropey. Saying that I do like her and her latest stuff. A former RHD mate of mine saw her in London and said it was ok-though a bit boring in places, and the security was unbelievable. They had to take the tops off their bottles of water before they went in!! As if they reach her from 500 yards away-not my idea of a good gig. Cliff on ? GMT #d62-6637 I think Madonna makes some great stuff, real class.BUT she seems to purposely surround herself with people(backing singers, dancers etc)who worship her and she controls them completely, its pathetic."In Bed with Madonna" shows this perfectly. Donald on ? GMT #21e-6638 'Music' is a great album (and she sure can drink a bottle of Perrier). Donald on ? GMT #21e-6639 Jackie - dont worry we are a very sociable bunch.I'm bringing the Scrabble, Cliff is great at Charades and Lindsay is Ludo champion. Derek is great at making shadows with his fingers that look like animals and George is a real pisshead (sorry George). Cliff on ? GMT #b88-6640 Yeah, remember Dereks "Rabbit" last year? that was the highlight of the trip.Shame about George, nice enough bloke but boy does he know how to drink. Cliff on ? GMT #b88-6641 Donald, can we get the scrabble rules straight before we go this year? "Ochaye" "bladdered" and "bigjessie" do NOT count! wilke @ on ? GMT #8a9-6642 cant wait to meet up with everyone in dublin it sounds as if it is going to be one hell of a night hope you lot will take it easy on a young derry man in a big city far from home ps i have to be in bed by midnight so my wife says but shes not the boss of me?????? or is she wilke @ on ?
