Might as well Derek, it's a decent size place.Remember last year we all sat round by that big Christmas tree boozing, ahh.After you lot went home we stayed on a few more days to see some sights.We went into O'Briens the night after the 'tones 2nd gig and the Xmas tree was gone? Was it there just for our benefit? Did the locals consider Xmas to be over once the 'tones had left town?

Ah brilliant I needed to know that you lot are a sociable bunch. O Briens it is- I hope you will be there til the opening notes of Jimmy Jimmy and dont do anything wussy like watch the support band...though I guess we do have to be back to get to the front. I used to be an expert at trail blazing to the very front of gigs-didnt care who I elbowed in the face to get there...funnily enough I use the same tactics to get to the bar-works everytime! Did anyone see the Madonna gig on tv last night- I use the term gig loosly as it was just like a huge pantomime, her guitar playing was rather ropey. Saying that I do like her and her latest stuff. A former RHD mate of mine saw her in London and said it was ok-though a bit boring in places, and the security was unbelievable. They had to take the tops off their bottles of water before they went in!! As if they reach her from 500 yards away-not my idea of a good gig.

I think Madonna makes some great stuff, real class.BUT she seems to purposely surround herself with people(backing singers, dancers etc)who worship her and she controls them completely, its pathetic."In Bed with Madonna" shows this perfectly.

'Music' is a great album (and she sure can drink a bottle of Perrier).
