for those going to cork there's a central reservations number - 0800 912 0021 for hotels. i've booked a room at jury's inn that sleeps three (i'm open to offers!)for 71 punds (£55 pounds)for the 19th. apparently its around a 3 hour drive from dublin.

donald - your confusing us. is it the jurys inn or the jurys lodge? and why the price reduction? is it because now you are staying there the hotel manager thinks the other guests should receive some form of compensation! i know it can't be the posh 5* jurys hotel in cork we are talking about but they are ringing me back to confirm tomorrow so i want to make sure i book the right one.

derek, according to a city breaks brochure i've just unearthed, the jurys inn has 133 rooms, a restaurant for 'casual dining' (lobster t-shirts obviously allowed then) and (possible confirmation of the name here) 'the inn' pub. no mention what class of bar though but i'm sure we could smuggle in some cider if necessary. party on!
