If the gig goes ahead on St Patricks Day I for one may be 'very very'drunk! But what a way to celebrate!Happy new year everyone.

Jackie on 13:18 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #455-11734
David and I watched the video during a Christmas telly low point, thanks Lindsay, it was great. We really liked the Mean Fiddler gig, did the camera zoom in on a certain Vinny O'Neill in the audience? If not he looked like a close relative.David thought Vinny's film was great too, except I kept telling him where all the funny bits were- he didnt think the O'Neill house joke about tidying up was as funny as I did! I liked the dressing room bits where they interviewed them for TV were funny too. How could anyone keep a straight face, and why did they keep asking about Feargal? I thought they were very polite about that. I wouldn't have been!

Paddy McGlinchey - Organiser of War Child /Ocean event on 17:03 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #0bb-11735
Hello all. Apologies for any confusion regarding the postponement of the War Child/Ocean event. As Billy has said we are trying to reschedule, and St Patrick's night is a possibility. Hope to have confirmation of this within the next few days. So please bear with me in the meantime. Cheers.

'TEENAGE KICKS' FILM NEWS UPDATE: The Film will be shown at the QFT (Queens Film Theatre) in Belfast on Fri 15 and Sat 16 Feb (Time tbc, probably 9pm). I'll post more info later on tickets etc. There are more planned also, details later. As far as the screenings in English cities; all I can say is there are cinemas in Manchester,London, Sheffield, Warwick and Bristol looking to screen the film and we are all working on dates at present. Some will be as early as February. The dates for Rotterdam are 25 January, 28 January and 2 February (this will be definitely confirmed next week). So, it's great that it'll get the run of screenings this year that I'd planned and hoped for. Talk later. Any suggestions as to other venues always welcome. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Vinny-why not the Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle, George and I would definately go!

Dominic on 19:53 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #f66-11738
Please don't let the Ocean gig be rescheduled to 17 March!!! I'm committed to going to Belgium for the weekend and the wife wont countenance any changes to the itinerary! PS Happy New Year everyone.

Vinny on 20:12 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #d12-11739
Jackie: The Tyneside is one of the places interested in showing it in April sometime. Sorry, that should have been on my list in the last message. As soon as I know, I'll post it here.

Vinny, Any chance of somewhere in the West Midlands? Although, at a push I could get to Warwick. Have you had any response from the BBC on the shortened version and will they be looking to put it on over the water?

Vinny on 20:51 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #d12-11741
Hi Derek, the shorter version doesn't look like going on Network transmission yet.2 reasons; 1. We wanna push the longer version at venues over there and 2. The BBC here didn't really push for Network transmission in the first place, only regional. Have you any cinema names for the West Midlands? Pardon my ignorance but can you give me a few cities or towns nearby?Talk soon

Vinny on 20:54 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #d12-11742
I also meant to add Festivals in Philadelphia, New York, Russia, Israel, Denmark and Copenhagen are interested too!! Not exactly worldwide appeal eh?

donald on 21:17 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #e46-11743

Belated Happy New Year to you all. If it really really is rescheduled for March 17th then I'm going to have to sort out my drinking arrangements

AlexD on 22:23 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #553-11745
Vinny, Have you tried the GFT(Glasgow Film Theatre). Here's the link: http://www.gft.org.uk/

George on 23:41 3rd-Jan-02 GMT #af8-11746
The film venues are looking OK. Looks like you'll have a busy passport Vinny. Almost a venue to suit everyone if there is a scottish showing as well. When I contacted the BBC Vinny I was told they were looking to possibly put the short film out on BBC Digital!

Cliff on 00:46 4th-Jan-02 GMT #09a-11748
Vinny, how about West Bromwich, Southend-On-Sea and Bucharest?
