Best 3 from last yesr? well the best ones I bought(or recieved as presents)were:'The Sweet' greatest hits(oh dear)'The Big Country' Soundtrack and Green Day 'Universal' something.I've only heard the first 5 tracks(up to basket case)but they are good.

Cliff on 10:39 5th-Jan-02 GMT #59d-11777

Jackie on 10:50 5th-Jan-02 GMT #455-11778
Lindsay-thanks for the Undertones card!!!!! I didnt think I'd get one and of course a kiss for Henry! Brilliant idea! I didnt manage to get my photos yesterday but will try today. CMoS I scanned you the set list so new songs are on there. I liked the T-Rex sounding one best. Hope you can put it on the Dublin page. Cliff- do you suit two black eyes??? (But I hope WBA beat Sunderland all the same!)

Thanks fo rthe list Cliffy - I belive I've alreay been sent the Cork set list (senders name is at work). I do remember that the 'disease' soung sounded good in Dublin - that must have been 'Oh Please' - next time I'll know what to look out for

Cliff on 20:41 5th-Jan-02 GMT #9b6-11781
Yeah sorry, my set list is from Galway not Cork.

donald on 20:41 5th-Jan-02 GMT #e46-11782
Top Lps of 2001, Dandy warhols '13 tales from urban bohemia',White Stripes 'white blood cells'and joint leader with steve's choice Brother where art thou -soundtrack. Best gig (apart from the obvious) - Soft Cell, Glasgow 80's electro sounding more vital and modern than I could have imagined. Best start to 2002 -Steps splitting up, there is a god.

Cliff on 20:43 5th-Jan-02 GMT #9b6-11783

Ill only watch that football stuff if you're wearing an Undertones T shirt and Henry's silk scarf Cliff.Something interesting to look out for.

Lindsay on 21:03 5th-Jan-02 GMT #cdf-11786

Cliff on 21:04 5th-Jan-02 GMT #9b6-11787
I wasn't there Donald, I'd still be on my way home if I was.Surely you dont need so much beauty sleep Lindsay?

Cliff on 21:08 5th-Jan-02 GMT #9b6-11788
One hour and a half until MOTD.If only I had the new songs to listen to on CD, what better way of passing the time.I'm gonna test my new headphones on Positive Touch instead.

Lindsay on 21:11 5th-Jan-02 GMT #cdf-11789
Talking of which...a certain picture of a certain person with a certain silk scarf and another certain picture of certain persons together with said certain silk scarf will certainly be sent to an excellent certain website manager shortly. (Try saying that after a few certain bevvies).

Jackie on 21:18 5th-Jan-02 GMT #455-11790

Hey everyone, Have a few questions here. First, I seem to be losing some of my posts or is it the chat moving so fast. This new link layout has confused me altogether. Second, Why is everyone's post in a white back ground but mine, is there a memeber signup? And finally, is there a Undertones gig comming up in Dublin and what would the date be? O before I forget, Happy New Year Humdingers.

George on 23:51 5th-Jan-02 GMT #3a0-11795
I'm still here. Not surprised by the result either.

Cliff on 00:10 6th-Jan-02 GMT #cfb-11796
Apparently it's only a game George.Maybe my set list was from Cork after all then? I've forgotten to be honest.Age is a terrible thing.

Cliff on 00:29 6th-Jan-02 GMT #cfb-11797
Followed your link Vinny, dont like this bit:' their last gig at the Wittness festival in Co Meath in August 2000. They may have split up a second time, but The Undertones have left behind a legacy of great music' SPLIT UP A SECOND TIME??!! HELLO!!

Cliff on 00:46 6th-Jan-02 GMT #cfb-11798
Whats the general opinion of the later singles? 'chain of love' 'Beautiful friend' and 'Love Parade' for example? I wasn't keen on 'love Parade' but loved the other two.'Beautiful Friend' has a great feel to it.I remember a review of 'Chain of Love' at the time saying you could 'listen to it 'til your ears bleed'.
