I should have spent the whole morning annoying the hell out of everyone at work about the great evening I had - instead I'm sat here waiting for our American colleagues to make a decision. Sorry to any American visitors here but the one's we deal with take so long - and why can't they be civil and let anyone know what's happening. They can't even leave a 30 second voicemail. Sorry for the moaning but it's a frustrating day. So I need cheering up - when is the rescheduled date ? We need to know.

This is uncanny - I keep posting something and within a minute something happens. The other day I mentioned the Napster alternative site - which I tried last night by the way and it is good - no Undertones rareties but a few others that looked interesting after a quick search - and within a minute my friend emailed me the link to it and then I post something about needing to be cheered up and I get a call from home. The wife's off out Saturday leaving me on my own - looks like a whole night watching George and Lindsay's videos. Can't wait. Any joy with the video from you yet Wilke ? Perhaps I should post something about there being everlasting peace around the world and see what happens.

Julius, I don't think we're playing any dates in Holland but I'll let you know if we do. Going to the States in the summer to launch our album. The band is currently unnamed, waiting for our record company to agree on one. Is the TK drum sample from Funky Col Medina? debated that one on here before.

Just received a CD by Dolly Mixture called 'Demonstration tapes', this LP was on my searchlist almost 20 years, now finally got the CD-Rerelease of it (this LP was released on CD a couple of years ago by someone in a band called St Etienne). I am very happy, after a hectic day at work with 2 meetings planned at same time and I had to rum between them etc. Tomorrow sale starts for Rotterdam Film festival. Great news on America, CR!! Reminds me of the pictures on the 'Hypnotised' innersleeve!!!!!!.

Anybody see that programme tonight about complications of giving birth, BBC1 9PM? Not the sort of programme I'd usually watch but imagine my shock when one of the couples featured was one of my best friends and his wife.John and Helen from South London.I've known John since 1975 and we have always shared a lot in common, firstly our love for West Brom which is how we met all those years ago and then a little later a joint appreciation of The Undertones.We used to drive to matches together with the 'tones blasting out.John owned a 'Jetta' at the time and we used to sing 'I've gotta jetta'(little devils we were).We were also trying to pull a couple of local girls for a while and used to relate to 'Girls that dont talk' when they ignored us(nothings changed there then).I hadnt heard from John for over a year and now I can see why, his mind was obviously on more important things.Anybody see the programme?
