Heres a great story...I got an e-mail from 'Cheryl' in Canada interested in t-shirts.I've told her to leave a message on here but shes a bit shy(unlike our other female contributors).Anyway, she told me this...'I did meet my husband through the Rocking Humdingers Club pen pal listings! He's still a fan too and now our daughter's favourite song is 'Jimmy Jimmy' or as she calls it, 'The Jimmy Song'.'

Glasgow turned down the film. As for gigs - it would be logical but that would be up to the band. It was complicated enough arranging the screenings.

My contacts in Edinburgh are sorting out the tickets for me don. Arthur what cinema was it in Glasgow so I can arrange an immediate torching?

I dont have any of the new material - otherwise you'd al have it by now. I do have a new VCD called 'Rouble Soul' - but am now waiting for stuff to fil the hole vacated by a wavewalkers performance. I also have copies of my new EP and album but you really dont wanna hear that.

Excuse me, but couldnt you hold a tape recorder up to the telly, then convert the tape to Cd then Cd to MP3 and upload it to the site? Thought that would be easy for a techy like you CMoS :-))

CMoS, Who says we would'nt like to hear your EP and LP...I'd love to hear it... Have you asked the people here if they can fill in the gap on the VCD with any of their videos of either The Undertones or TPE? Lee I will be at the Warwick screening as it is only a 5 minute drive from mine.

I watched some of the film again tonight,I can relate so much to the beginning.Kids in the early 70's playing football over the park wearing a pin stripe kit(unusual then but I had one also...Dunfermline athletic?!!)the 'TK' classical version in the background is quite haunting and then John Peel comes on during his radio show and plays a request.....'TK' which is just spine tingling of course.So whens the sequal Vinny? ;-))
