Well it’s here - the day of the Yorkshire Film Premiere. Diamond-encrusted jeans and t-shirt at the ready (although I’ll have to start off in a pink girlie jumper as I’m going to Pizza Express first and it’s a bit posh in there – sorry, lame excuse I know). The film has been rated PG at Sheffield and in York both NC (on teletext) & 18 (on the website)?? – can’t think why 18, there’s no full-frontal nudity (shame), gratuitous violence or excessive bad language – but I do find it rather amusing that the powers that be (well those in York anyway) still appear to believe in the old adage that punk bands pose a dangerous threat to society 25 years on! Report to follow. PS. The diamonds are fake before anyone tries to rob me!

Hi Lindsay, let us all know how it goes tonight. I'm interested in numbers as I don't think there is a lotta publicity leading up to these events. It's a shame I couldn't make it over for some more of them but I've been away that much in the last 2 years it's hard. I'm looking at the list of screenings now and seeing if there are any I can get to. Anyway, enjoy your night and watch those ear-rings!!

For anyone planning to go to the Edinburgh film showings note the early start times: 18/4 6.15 pm, 19/4 6.30 pm, 20/4 3 pm. Looks like a good excuse to leave work early. Tickets on sale 1/4.

Are you going on the 18th donald/doninblack? Where's a good place to meet? Is bodyarmour required? Should I iron my shell suit?
