Andy. You will need to make sure that the gig is well advertised with loads of poster and leaflets. Upstairs in the Gweedore has a habit of not pulling in the crowds if events are not well advertised before hand. If you need someone to do up leaflets or posters give me a shout. Vinny on 11:46 26th-Mar-02 GMT #a5a-13501 Hi Cliff: How many times have you seen the film now? Arthur on 12:01 26th-Mar-02 GMT #29f-13502 The film is being screened at the Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff on Monday 6 May, Tuesday 7 May, Weds 8 May & Thursday 9 May. henry on 12:03 26th-Mar-02 GMT #ca6-13503 Cliff - do you want to meet up on Sunday...the film was on at 5:30 so I should think its at the same time again. By the way did you get the photo, of the YGMN shirt (and stupid hat). Lee on 12:52 26th-Mar-02 GMT #fb0-13504 Cliff - just off to a meeting for the rest of the day so can't call right now. I'm 90% certain of going but don't expect to be able to get there much before the start of the game. If I do go I'm driving a friend who has to get back sharpish afterwards. I'll take your number with me and if I can get there early I will call you. I've got tickets for Saturday and am hoping to go to the other 2 home games. We have to meet at 1 of these. Let's hope they only have 2 other home games and that Wolves do slip up ! Liam @ on 13:20 26th-Mar-02 GMT #db7-13505 Vinny. Any plans for another showing in Derry? VINNY on 17:19 26th-Mar-02 GMT #baf-13506 Liam: We have been asked so many times about this as a lotta people still have never seen the film version. I was planning something and it all fell through but I wanna do something soon. Any ideas ??? wilke @ on 18:24 26th-Mar-02 GMT #9f7-13509 hello andy got drive 105 to advertise the ramones gig today i think one of the djs is doing something at it so i think it will get a lot more plugs on his show.vinny how about showing the doc on a large screen in one of the local bars ?? talk soon see ya Steve on 21:48 26th-Mar-02 GMT #6a1-13510 Cliff, I was working in a junior school today and the class I was working in the Teacher was giving the pupils a spelling test. To emphasise the words he wanted them to spell he kept putting them into sentences. Every sentence contained something about W.B.A i.e Spell Great....West brom are a GREAT football team. I was chuckling to myself thinking Cliff will love this, Infiltrating kids minds at an early age!!! Steve on 21:55 26th-Mar-02 GMT #6a1-13511 CMoS....Your L.P is one hell of a scary thing. Played it a few times now....You make Radiohead sound like a bunch of comedians!!!! Fair play to you though, nice to see some one do something different and not follow a trend. Also top marks for it being 30 mins long...Too many bands of today think that a C.D holds 70 odd minutes so lets fill up the gaps with our mediocre stuff!!! Currentlly grooving to the new Christy Moore L.P (Heavenly stuff and includes one of the most beautifulest tunes 'Cry like a Man'.). Julius on 21:57 26th-Mar-02 GMT #e2b-13512 great news on The Moondogs who secured themselves a deal and will be releasing an album & single this summer (and some gigs to promote!!!), now The Undertones have to follow this example!!!! Julius on 22:01 26th-Mar-02 GMT #e2b-13513 CMoS: had a close listen to your album today and I like most tracks, it is haunting!!! Bonesaw and cre(m)ation are my favourites, the drumming on crem)ation is fab, I do not like tracks Destiny today and fit in friction, but tracks 1,2,3,5,8 and 10 are good! Jolly Lives is good because it is a bit cynical!!! Julius on 22:02 26th-Mar-02 GMT #e2b-13514 Anyone familiar with Belfast band Desert hearts who are getting rave reviews here, have not heard about them before!! Ernie on 23:07 26th-Mar-02 GMT #fa9-13515 Vinny, what contacts have you in UTV for the Gerry Kelly Show - you did mention a Paul Taggart appearance some time ago?? Did you listen to the demo CMoS on 01:13 27th-Mar-02 GMT #2ca-13516 Thanks Steve And Julius for reachign the end (more than once). The 3 albums cover the alphabet a-j, l-t, u-z (with 5-7+0). And the 3 eps fill in the numbers 4+2, 1+8, 3+9. That way you can really annoy cliff with single initals. I didn't intend to sing and had hoped for loud guitars - ho hum. 'C' is a popular favourite I actually thought it was *too* normal. Am currently having a crash cymbal crisis - having heard the 'white stripes' you've really got to really hit the thing a minimum of 4 times in a four.
