Back almost in 1 piece from 2 weeks in states, thankfully didnt find it as boring as Strummer. DAVE R ALERT!!- Did get a US release CD of 'The Very Best of the Undertones' (surprisingly not a 4 CD box set). Its the one with the writing inside from 'Lesley Wesley' (Billy Docherty DTU?) . Its got a lobster cover and a flap over insert for the USA saying '25 tracks including all their great singles. The Undertones stormed out of Ireland with a perfect 3 chord sound and manic energy that has come to define 'punk pop' for a generation of followers like Green Day and Offspring. Including such gems as 'HCTS', IGTH' MPC' TK and many more of their chart topping UK hits.' Rykodisc RCD 20297, . 1994

Dave, check the link. Rockfield 'claim' the Undertones amongst their illustrious clients in the 80s. Most of the TPE albums namecheck the studio but no mention on any Tones records. CMoS - isn't it a sort of negative image of part of a letter in the undertones red-arrow logo? The bits flying off the outside remind me of it. Please say I'm right so we can have the lobsters back now.
