I don't know why they don't re-name the BBC to 'Titmarsh TV'...and women have the cheek to complain theres to much football on! Dave R on 11:20 18th-Apr-02 GMT #395-13926 Cliff, there is too much football on TV!! Doesn't anyone watch the excellent 'Teachers' on Channel 4 on Wednesday? AlexD on 13:51 18th-Apr-02 GMT #92a-13929 Off to Edinburgh now, body armour check, cattle prod check, case of Superlager check. That should cover all eventualities. See you tonight. CMoS on 16:06 18th-Apr-02 GMT #a5b-13931 Yep Dave Tvs certainly looking up now I watch CSI every night, and 24 on sundays 6 hours a week ... ©® on 16:17 18th-Apr-02 GMT #d17-13932 Dave's right, Teachers is ace, best thing on telly right now - apart from Soccer AM of course, eh Dave?☺ Jackie on 16:49 18th-Apr-02 GMT #455-13933 Teachers? SOOOOoooo true to life. If only. Jackie on 16:52 18th-Apr-02 GMT #455-13934 CSI is brilliant though. Do you think Grisham has got something wrong with his legs? And isnt the DNA bloke nice? And which of the girls do you like best? Isn't it only on on Saturdays? And why have they shortened the title music? Cliff on 17:41 18th-Apr-02 GMT #6e4-13935 Just recieved an interesting e-mail from an Albion/Ramones & Undertones friend:.....'Hi Cliff, how's things? Dunno about you but can't wait for sunday. Just got back from the states, two weeks in orlando but on the way home had a long layover in Newark Airport NJ. Decided to take the opportunity to nip into NYC for 5 hours and take a look around some punk places of interest. Went to CBGB and met Hilly Kristal (owner) who allowed us in even though they were closed, to take photo's which was really cool. I had my photo taken on stage where Joey would have stood many times. Went to see the brick wall that provided the backdrop for the Ramones first album cover photo, but to top it all I visited Arturo Vega, the Ramones Creative/artistic Director who designed the eagle logo and all their official Tee shirts. If you listen to the words of 'Chinese Rock' you will hear Joey sing 'hey, hey is Arty home?', this is the guy we met. Cliff on 17:42 18th-Apr-02 GMT #6e4-13936 .......Arturo was a really nice guy who invited me and my family in to see his loft in which he shared with Joey and Dee Dee for some time. The Ramones also signed their first record deal there too and with Dee Dee's paintings adorning the walls it was a great occasion for me and something I'll never forget. All of the bands' previous members (Joey was probably there in spirit) were at the loft a few weeks ago getting ready for the Rock 'n' Roll hall of fame induction ceremony (richly deserved but very un-punk). Arturo showed us around and let us take photo's, then he got out some more of Dee Dee's paintings and told a few of the stories behind them. Sorry about this rambling but I'm still buzzing from it all and I know of few people who could possibly appreciate how momentous this was for me. Come on you Baggies!!!! Cliff on 22:17 18th-Apr-02 GMT #540-13940 I wish they would Andreas, I was there a couple of years ago...lovely place.(mermaids a bit small though). wilke @ on 22:26 18th-Apr-02 GMT #e60-13941 hello. got the wife that new two tone cd she love it not my kind of music but hey each to there own allso got blade 2 on dvd today not a bad film .vinny hope everything goes well to night .donald have a drink or three on me tonight .going out next saturday night with some friends trying to talk them in to going to see a local band called the jay walkers they do cover verison of new wave bands talk soon see ya George on 23:30 18th-Apr-02 GMT #c4a-13942 Hopefully Donald will be able to provide good news on tour front after the Q and A session tonight. I wish I'd been there. Did watch teachers last night. They seem to spend more time down the pub. I'm sure that is not like the typical teacher eh Jackie! George on 23:36 18th-Apr-02 GMT #c4a-13943 See there is a 'new' Undertones single available on e-bay - 'Get over IT!' doninblack on 00:58 19th-Apr-02 GMT #40f-13944 Just back from a night out with Donald and Alex, after the first Edinburgh showing - oh yeah, Vinny and Damian were there too! An amazing 230 filmgoers at 6.15 pm! Only 50 empty seats. A nice big screen presented my first viewing of the film, and it is just fab. Really enjoyed it and look forward to going again on Saturday. V/D (!) took questions for 45 minutes, and both were on good form. This site got a mention, and D provided some snippets of what might happen soon regarding recordings and dates. Will supply more details later as I have to dash, cos there are rumours that D is going to join a local band on stage tonight...
