Ryanair fly Stansted-Shannon, British European from Birmingham and I think BA from Manchester - the Shannon airport website lists timetables and Ryanair is approx. £40-50 cheaper than BE.

Lindsay, I bought The Jam Anniversary single on Monday. Judging by eBay, it looks as though all copies have been snapped up, though (it's already selling on there for about four quid). Only Virgin in MK had copies, and they've all gone!

Donald, 'In The City' has been re-issued to show Oasis what a real band should sound like! Seriously though, it's the 25th anniversary of it's original release, plus there's a(nother) greatest hits album coming out!

I know we are not to mention football and politics, but I see Hartlepool have voted their football mascot H'angus the monkey as the mayor. Unfortunately the candidate has ditched the monkey suit since being elected. He is still hoping to provide free bananas for all schoolchildren once his proposal has been costed. Since he is now in £53K a year, I suppose he could afford to buy the first bunch.

Who'd have thought all those years ago listening to John Peel as the 'alternative' DJ on BBC that he would become so accepted and popular, what with tv programmes, voice overs on commercials, winning 3 Sony awards etc. Did't find the picture with Feargal though.
