Vinny. Myself, Linda and Claire are thinking of staying there. Rang them yesterday and they said kids can go to the gig as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult - wonder if that includes me? Are you staying in Oldcastle Vinny?

Jackie, just come over to Holland since we did not qualify for the worldcup(which is a national tragedy) hardly a word gets spoken on the worldcup, the shops are all worldcup-free... So, my Undertones-video is still intact too. I saw Siouxsie quite some times first time around. Just like the Undertones she toured Holland a lot and not just did a one-off gig in Amsterdam like many other bands. I spoke to her once and she was really nice; I always loved her concerts as they were loud and full of energy.

Salestime now: The Saw Doctors are releasing a new single tomorrow which is superb. I am a great fan of this band and they were responsible for the Undertones-reunion, the bands asks everyone to buy this single (available in two formats for just 1,99 each) this coming week. if they sell 5000 it probably give them a UK top40-entry and thus loads of media-exposure(like ToTP); so buy it, the band deserves it!!! (and now we know what to do when the Undertones release a single, if all the regulars on this site each buy 250 copies or so, we have the Undertones back in the charts!!!!

Just found an interview with TV21 on the web, great quote: JR: You toured with The Undertones once? NORMAN: Yeah. They were great, really nice guys. I wasn't that big a fan of theirs until we did that tour, I used to like the odd single but Ally Palmer was a fanatic before the tour so he was delighted when we got on that one! He watched every gig. They were great live. JR: One of the reasons I ask you about them was because the first time I saw your first 2 singles in a store I thought they were singles on the Good Vibrations label because of that distinctive fold out sleeve! (Undertones debut 45 was on Good Vibes) NORMAN: (laughs) Yeah, that's who we ripped it off from, I think 'cause Ally had the original UNDERTONES' single 'Teenage Kicks' from that label, and ourselves and ANOTHER PRETTY FACE both thought it was a good idea to do that kind of sleeve. But actually it was a bit of a bummer 'cause we had to fold them all ourselves,
