Good news is that after one days sale, the Saw Doctors single, This Is Me, is No. 25 in the mid week UK charts - they sold 2294 CD's on Monday May 20. This band really needs our support as they have helped the undertones!! It also shows that you do not need to sell a lot of singles these days to get in the charts; we know what to do when the Undertones eventually release a new single

Does Vinny or anyone else on here know when a likely release date for the 'Teenage Kicks' documentary on DVD might be ? I'm a bit down at the moment (that 'Mid-Life Crisis of Mine') and need cheering up.

Rick: Negotiations are ongoing as they say, with Record Companies, Publishers and so on but we'd hope for a release of the DVD/ Video by August. Get yourself to Ireland in July for three gigs, that'll lift you!!

Nothing as complex as a human being: The Saw Doctors are indeed one of my favourite bands, great stuff, I have a Dollar LP which is good and the Vienna LP by Ultravox. But I also have a Cockney Rejects LP which I haven't played in ages, but which I used to enjoy a lot; I even met some of the Rejects in a London pub and they were quite nice!! But the Undertones are still huge favourites of mine

yes liam a bit of a schock [ i think i must be in my mid life crisis] just to let you know i`m for spain on sunday looking forward to it alot but not as much as the galway gig i only wish i could get to the other two . ps wife took over the tv tonght to see the soap awards can someone tell me how a dog won for best leaving of a soap. pps saw the tones first lp in virgin as part of a deal there doing clash were there as well i think it was there first two albums .anyway must go and put on the best of clash talk soon see ya

We've had this thing about Dollar on here before, I can't get my head round it.Surely they're about as naff and embarrassing as you can get....we'll be praising wham! next, god forbid.

Good man Wilke - turn the Clash up full throttle and that will put all notions of Ultravox out of your head. Been sitting here listening to Johnny Cash most of the evening - I have to say that it would be a toss up between the Undertones, Ramones and Cash as to who would be my number one of all time. Think that 'The Man in Black' would come out on top.
