Cook da Books single - would't want to stop it. I have it on 12 inch vinyl - somewhere! Julius on 12:52 22nd-May-02 GMT #6d7-14738 Good news is that after one days sale, the Saw Doctors single, This Is Me, is No. 25 in the mid week UK charts - they sold 2294 CD's on Monday May 20. This band really needs our support as they have helped the undertones!! It also shows that you do not need to sell a lot of singles these days to get in the charts; we know what to do when the Undertones eventually release a new single Rick on 16:03 22nd-May-02 GMT #2a9-14742 Does Vinny or anyone else on here know when a likely release date for the 'Teenage Kicks' documentary on DVD might be ? I'm a bit down at the moment (that 'Mid-Life Crisis of Mine') and need cheering up. Jackie on 17:31 22nd-May-02 GMT #81e-14744 Clare Grogan is a definite Maggie in the teeth dept! But if Dollar are supporting them then I'll HAVE to go:_)) Yes George, Tiffanys was next to the Laing. I musn't have known you then.Talking of odd groups theres a group in the USA called 'Killing My lobster' Their t-shirts are brilliant and very cheap everyone! wilke @ on 18:33 22nd-May-02 GMT #d12-14745 went in to virgin today and got the vienna cd by ultravox not bad i know some of you lot are not in to this type of music but hey it takes all sorts talk soon see ya wilke @ on 18:43 22nd-May-02 GMT #d12-14746 ps is the same dollar from the 80`s as i seem to remember the guy from it joining bucks fizz just seem top2 tonight it seems theres a mod revival next month god help help us. then the mods might say the same thing about a punk revival Liam on 21:25 22nd-May-02 GMT #d12-14748 Ultravox! The Saw Doctors! DOLLAR!!! What is going on? Sounds like a top three in the Worlds Worst Bands. Has everyone gone mad? Wilke I am surprised at you. Ah well live and let live (I suppose). Vinny on 21:48 22nd-May-02 GMT #d12-14749 Rick: Negotiations are ongoing as they say, with Record Companies, Publishers and so on but we'd hope for a release of the DVD/ Video by August. Get yourself to Ireland in July for three gigs, that'll lift you!! Julius on 21:50 22nd-May-02 GMT #8f3-14750 Nothing as complex as a human being: The Saw Doctors are indeed one of my favourite bands, great stuff, I have a Dollar LP which is good and the Vienna LP by Ultravox. But I also have a Cockney Rejects LP which I haven't played in ages, but which I used to enjoy a lot; I even met some of the Rejects in a London pub and they were quite nice!! But the Undertones are still huge favourites of mine wilke @ on 22:20 22nd-May-02 GMT #b14-14751 yes liam a bit of a schock [ i think i must be in my mid life crisis] just to let you know i`m for spain on sunday looking forward to it alot but not as much as the galway gig i only wish i could get to the other two . ps wife took over the tv tonght to see the soap awards can someone tell me how a dog won for best leaving of a soap. pps saw the tones first lp in virgin as part of a deal there doing clash were there as well i think it was there first two albums .anyway must go and put on the best of clash talk soon see ya wilke @ on 22:27 22nd-May-02 GMT #b14-14752 julius what was the name of the moondogs single you were looking i came a cross a few moon dogs singles can you let me know thanks .cmos did you get my e mail ?? Cliff on 22:56 22nd-May-02 GMT #7e5-14753 We've had this thing about Dollar on here before, I can't get my head round it.Surely they're about as naff and embarrassing as you can get....we'll be praising wham! next, god forbid. Liam on 01:27 23rd-May-02 GMT #d12-14754 Good man Wilke - turn the Clash up full throttle and that will put all notions of Ultravox out of your head. Been sitting here listening to Johnny Cash most of the evening - I have to say that it would be a toss up between the Undertones, Ramones and Cash as to who would be my number one of all time. Think that 'The Man in Black' would come out on top. Liam on 01:28 23rd-May-02 GMT #d12-14755 Fuck its late. Won't be able to work much tomorrow.
