I was at that gig at the Lyceum - it was a Sunday night if my memory is correct. Well I've been pissed off by the Roy Keane incident - it wouldn't have happened with any other country, France without Zidane or england without Beckham, I don't think so. Perhaps he needs a copy of the Sin of Pride. On a brighter note, I play 'I know a Girl' to my daughter every morning and she recognises it and claps her hands to it. Nothing like starting young! Hope there's a good turn out for the Glasgow Q&A.

I was at the Lyceum too I recall there was a DJ there from capital radio with loads of screaming girls in the morning (we got there early!) Dunno who he was but he had jug lugs! He went running past me past the stage door- sadly I blanked him! The soundcheck was good, but the gig was just so sad as I knew it was the last time I'd see them live. Afterwards I felt very cheated because the band blanked me.!.but then again they did have 500 people wanting to talk to them. It was a very sad stroll down the Strand that night (are you crying yet??)CMoS, as for Sunita she's ok but anyone who smokes shouldnt have been let in in the first place.

JACKIE - sorry I didn't see your message until it was too late. How about trying tonight straight after BB to discuss the Ireland trip etc? CLIFF & DEREK - if you're around too, try and join us as I think things will need to be booked soon.

Are there any 'official' pictures of the new T-shirts from CDNow. Did Dave not get some samples sent to him. I've seen the You've got my Number T-shirt but can't remember the others.

Just catching up on postings: we had our annual fair this weekend in my village, so that meant a whole weekend of drinking,partying,drinking. great fun and the whole village takes part in the celebrations!!!! Nice to see you back Lindsay, hope things go okay for you but it all takes time and it will take time, it will be ups and downs for some time to come but we are there for you and just play an Undertones album if you are depressed, I now have 9 Protex tracks on Cd , let me know if you are iinterested. Mostly I agree with Rick's comments but I did not agree with Rick's comment on Secret Affair, they may have been arrogant 20 years ago, but nowadays they are one of the hardest working bands around who literally have played for a pint of beer: they are playing for a few years now but now it seems to make a kind of breakthrough again; well-deserved in my opinion; last year I nearly materialised a gig for them in Holland: all they asked for was travel-expenses, a meal and a few drinks!!!

George - RU planning any of the Irish dates? Bet you're gutted about missing the Jubilee!

Am holding an all night vigil - 7 bottles of Lidl wine and 5 flavours of *snack jacks*. If Sunita's leaving I'm going to watch every last second of it
