After all I said about Spain, we've gone and booked a hol there from Tues next!!

As part of my training for the Undertones concerts later this month I decided to do an 800 metre race, followed by a 200 metre race followed by a 3000 metre race tonight. My legs aren't talking to me. It seemed a good idea at the time. In the 200 metre race I was last by the proverbial mile. I did lap the 200 metre winner in the 3000 metre race though. Undertones concerts later this month! Now doesn't that have a nice sound to it.

As part of my warm down I went looking for your parents house Jackie but couldn't remember the number, or whether the big tree was next door or opposite etc. I also ran past Jackie's old house. I've been offered some of the Jimmy Jimmy t-shirts. If they are OK I might buy extra and bring them to Ireland.

I mean I ran past Christine's parents old house. Old age is catching up!

I hope the other lucky people going to the gigs are following your fitness programme George. Dont turn up on Crimestoppers for stalking though. On the other hand an Undertones T shirt on the TV would be good publicity.

Put me down for a t-shirt George xxxl should do the trick. 3 weeks on Thu folks, Celtic v Ajax the night before, hope O'Neill's still in charge by then and not moved to a wee yorkshire outfit! Wonder when my backstage pass will arrive :)

Sounds like you really do need to follow George's example for the next three weeks Alex! Don't think Cliff makes XXXL but you could always sew three large ones together:) PS. It was the prospect of warm weather, decent beer and winning a game that probably swung it for Mr O'Neill (Martin that is, not Damian or John!).
