me too. I had a blow out the night before last to celebrate the conclusion of a major piece of work, and stayed up late tucking into the Black Bush with the stereo on full. I put on the Undertones for the first time in about 6 months - I have been rationing myself as overkill wsa setting ever since I went to see them at the Astoria. I was left wondering why I had not decided to go to Galway - especially as we are going to Galway anyway on hols later this summer. Talk about bad planning.

Had the most bizarre dream last night. Undertones playing three gigs- but like John Cleese I missed the first one. Then it snowed and my car conked out on the way to the 2nd one. Had to walk through very ropey part of town-missed the gig. Went to the hotel where everyone was staying. JON was going out the front door, gave me his key (!) to get in. Went up to the bar, before could get to the bar met some friends who wouldn't stop chatting to me. Then needed the loo...Still never got to the table where the band were sitting as the hotel proprietor suspected me as a none guest and threw me out...Dreams are so realistic arent they?

Lobster and me now heading for some sun, sea and surf (well the latter two are guaranteed at least). Jackie, I think you may be in France when I come back so have a nice holiday and I'll be in touch in a few weeks re. York.

It's now 8pm and we are just back from Galway, decided not to go to Oldcastle as we had doubts about the children getting in. We were lucky last night getting them in and it was thanks to Caroline and John as well as the owner. They loved it. The owner put the 2 children right up behind the mixer/ lighting desks!!The gig? What a great night, they were absolutely incredible. I have the set list and there were several new songs. Afterwards we all sat chatting until the wee small hours, I left at 4.30am. Fuller reprt/s to follow but they were quite simply amazing!! Full house also.

But that was at 3 or 4am this morning!!!!!
