I went to the Pistols gig and I thought they were absolutely atrocious! They did everything off Bollocks obviously but then struggled to know what to play and filled the rest of the gig with covers. They even started off the gig with Silver Machine by Hawkwind! Also played My Way and once upon a time Lydon wouldn`t touch anything like that with a barge pole. I was almost expecting them to push on Ronnie Biggs in a wheel chair and perform No one is Innocent! They sound was awful at times too. Just dreadful!

saw the unertones gig in galway last week as part of the arts festival. it was definitely the best, most fun and most energetic gig ive seen.top band. top men.met them after at the bar and were dead sound.they probably thought i was a drunken stalker fan(i was drunk but i aint no stalker)but they were really friendly and appreciative of our praise.best irish band ever, by a mile...

No Lindsay,no Jackie no Wilke god it's quiet in here. Who wants a game of spin the (empty) bottle? Tell us a joke Vinny! Donald could give us a Celtic song (2-1 to the champions btw), maybe save you impression of Fireman sam for another time Cliff!!

Im a happy man, got Tickets for Nancy Sinatra in a 600 standing venue then the Undertones 5 days later. Augusts looking good. Prehen tickets arrived today Alex, would be more exciting if it said Undertones on it.

Nancy Sinatra? You been at the Bucky?

donald on 21:41 3rd-Aug-02 GMT #e46-16035
Like Lee Hazlewoods stuff and he wrote most of Nacy Sinatras songs, Seeing Franks daughter seems pretty cool as well. Are you ready boots....

AlexD on 22:31 3rd-Aug-02 GMT #12c-16036
My highly polished DM's are always ready. I have the top of the range ones with the built-in stagger free homing device, and optional Hun locator, but Nancy Sinatra!!! We'll discuss this further over the Irish Sea.

Cliff on 01:19 4th-Aug-02 GMT #8e7-16037
Yeah I noticed that in Ireland Alex, your DM's were indeed highly polished.

AlexD on 01:43 4th-Aug-02 GMT #e50-16038
I have had dirty boots, but that's a different story. C'mon Cliff, tell the Fireman Sam story!
