My holiday turned into a bit of a disaster but it doesn't seem to be the year for good holidays. Met 2 good friends last night each of who returned from holiday Saturday. 1 went to an apartment which was a bit basic-no shower or bath. The other went for a week and managed to spend 3 days in hospital as his 6 year old managed to vault the sea wall on his micro scooter and fell 10 feet onto the sand, breaking his collarbone. Anyone else that knows me - stay at home! Cliff on 14:37 12th-Aug-02 GMT #e9b-16180 CMoS are you still with us?? I noticed the 'News' page dosent get updated any more and there's no mention of Saturdays Prehen gig or the possible Letterkenny gig. Rick on 15:32 12th-Aug-02 GMT #2a9-16181 Morrissey at the Albert Hall - unfortunately I'm at my retreat in the South of France with my parents that week so will miss those concerts. You should go Cliff because when he toured at the end of 1999 he was great - even doing old Smiths songs. I'm not wild about the Albert Hall as a venue though. Cliff on 15:43 12th-Aug-02 GMT #40c-16182 You've lost me there, why should I go? Rick on 16:39 12th-Aug-02 GMT #2a9-16183 Sorry Cliff I assumed as you had mentioned these concerts in an earlier posting that you liked Morrissey and were thinking of going. As I said - the last time he toured he was in fine form. Rick on 16:49 12th-Aug-02 GMT #2a9-16184 Sorry just realised it was Donald not Cliff who mentioned these gigs. donald on 18:41 12th-Aug-02 GMT #e46-16186 It was me but you should still go Clif- you dont need a reason - its Morrisey isnt that enough? Cliff on 22:16 12th-Aug-02 GMT #2fb-16188 in a word, no. George on 22:18 12th-Aug-02 GMT #9fb-16189 I like the idea of having a retreat in the South of France. Weather would be a good improvement on last few days back home. Not that Michael and Feargal ever check in to the site, but happy birthday for tomorrow. Michael will reach the grand old age of 44. Still one year younger than Feargal Cliff on 22:27 12th-Aug-02 GMT #2fb-16190 Anybody else watch thaty programme 'Airline' which feartures easyjet? honestly, they come across so badly IMO.The staff are all so young especially that pillock 'Leo'.He's supposed to be some sort of senior manager but looks like he hasn't started shaving yet. When he has to deal with stressed passengers he's absolutely hopeless, hasn't got a clue, it's hillarious. Cliff on 22:28 12th-Aug-02 GMT #2fb-16191 44, and he dosent look any older than me.
