Didnt make the chatroom last night sorry, been ill and last 3 days have passed in a haze....have the band confirmed any more gigs yet??

I agree with Julius regarding the new songs,'OhPlease' and 'Need your love' are the best although very closely followed by the others except 'shutdown' which just dosent do it for me.I remember watching the band play 'I need your love' at the sound check in Galway and just thinking 'f*ck, this is good'.Don't tell my mum I thought that though.

Julius, I think you're confusing me with someone else, I like the horns & brass on most songs.They sound brilliant on 'you're welcome'.

I didnt think it was horns and brass Cliff-just distorted guitar made to sound like white noise. Or did I just read that somewhere?I'll have to have another listen. Youre Welcome was my favourite track on that LP anyway.

Appraently the White Stripes are excelent live. i missed them last time they played and am still kicking myself. Next couple of gigs - Wildhearts and Queens of the Stone Age - raawk maaaan., shame you cant headbang with no hair.Still waiting for confirmation of The gig of year at Xmas.Coooome on.
