Just booked my gig ticket (I think!!). Despite it being an 'english' version, when I got to the CC details, it was all in Dutch! Couldn't fit all the address in either, the system didn't allow for our 6/7 digit Postcode and it only lets you put in UK not specifically England/Ireland etc. so god knows where my ticket will end up. Not very user friendly! Julius, does Verstaten (or something similar) mean 'confirm'? Please say yes!

I'm sure we'll have a swell time Jackie even if we're on dry land (or should that be swill?) but if not, and your canal-legs are up to it after the night before, the boats apparently stop right outside the hotel (cornettos and bad singing optional!).

With top, in-depth analysis... The trouble with It's Going to Happen is that its too fast to jump up and down to on the beat, (unless you can do something about the force of gravity)and too slow to jump up and down to on every other beat, (you end up just 'hanging about' for a while for the next one to come along). The former feels like you are flapping your arms in a desperate effort to try and take off and failing, (try it, you just can't do it fast enough). The latter makes you feel like you are just standing around like a bit of lemon somewhere where everyone is just more 'with it' than you are. Then again, perhaps it's just me.

Alex, thanks for the mail: there are many english,irish and scottish pubs around paradiso, all have TV's and BBC1&2 is on the cable so you just have to ask friendly and you probably are able to see this old firm match on saturday the 7th. Do you mind if I go and try to get in at the soundcheck in the meantime??

Just was listening to CD by The Coral, a new band who were on Jools Holland last friday, cant say I am too impressed to put it mildly.... On the contrary I am really into the Libertines from London who just had their debut CD out. Question: in the film there is a coverversion from 'my perfect cousin' in the end (near the TPE -bit). Does anyone know who it is by?

Julius, the MY PERFECT COUSIN accoustic version in the film is by THE UNDERTONES with PAUL singing. It was recorded for TODAY FM radio station to promote the WITTNESS gig in August 2000. It's excellent and I'd love to put the whole song on the DVD.

Julius, the confirmation came through by email so hopefully my ticket will arrive soon. The band were A1 - I say were as they've since split up. I have a death-wish on all boybands!
