Have only just booked my Paradiso ticket today and have also booked a return ferry crossing to Amsterdam arriving first thing on Friday 6th Dec and departing Sunday 8th at 6pm. I still have my flight ticket from Brussels on the 9th just incase Ostend or a Belgium date gets announced for the Sunday or I want to extend my break by a day.

I hear that David Seaman must have read my posting last week about long hair and moustaches-and he's done something about it!

I imagine Amsterdam is just like any other big city in that you have good areas and bad ones and you have to be a bit careful. Just read that someone was stabbed in the queue outside Queens of the Stone Age at Glasgow last Sunday which I was at. Thank God for alcohol - ignorance is bliss.

I am still planning to go running on Sunday in Holland. There is a race in Aalsmeer which I believe is about 10 mile south of Amsterdam. I have just e-mailed them tonight for more info. I am embarrassed that I had to e-mail them in English as I can't speak Dutch, and my French is very very rusty. Still have plenty of time to go sight seeing though with several hours spare on the Friday and Saturday. I'll probably have to take it easy at the concert just in case I get injured!

I'm staying to Monday wilke. I have spent most of the day painting a huge pentagram in the east end of Glasgow but apparently Souness is already among us, it'll need to be the silver bullets after all.
