This is a classic England V Scotland match as it will show how Celtic/Rangers would fair in the premiership.Blackburn are a decent premiership team that will probably finish between 8-10th this season....I don't think they'll lose either match to Celtic and go through.

The Spanish league is the best in Europe at present. Valecia beat the current Priemiership leaders home and away with relative ease. I fancy a close match at the Hawthorns with one goal in it, hopefully for City.

They've had a finalist in the Champion's League for the last 4 years. You can't argue with that. As for the top teams, it's an acknowled fact that the Premiership is in fact a three tier affair. Top tier has the teams actually in with a chance of winning it, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool etc. The middle tier has your Eufa Cup qualifiers and teams who will finish comfortably, Blackburn, Southampton etc and the Bottom tier has teams like Man City, Sunderland and WBA struggling to avoid relegation. Where's the strength in depth there? If WBA produced an outstanding player, he'd be snapped up by a bigger club.

Albion have a top class player - no defender has yet looked comfortable against Jason Roberts. I think the point Cliff was making is that if you put Sunderland, Albion and Man City against the bottom tier of the Spanish League I'd back our teams comfortably.

Lee we'll have to agree to disagree. I'd never back Man City. They could beat Real Madrid one week and lose to East Fife the next.Strange match tonight - I thought Blackburn overplayed when they got near the penalty area. Celtic scored from a set piece, it'll be interesting for the return leg.

The money the teams at the bottom of the Premiership have paid on players we should be able to beat the bottom clubs in Spain on paper. Unfortunately Sunderland play on grass and the way we are playing at the moment even WBA and Man City must fancy their chances. And just think it is only 17 month since they finished 7th for the second consecutive year. Surely other leagues do not have as many overseas players as the Premier League. With the odd exception it is only the foreigners who seem comfortable on the ball.

Delighted with the result but very disappointed with the way Celtic played. Blackburn dominated for long spells and were a lot more comfortable on the ball. Celtic can actually play but when the chips are down they resort to the infamous boot up the park and it's a poor advert. I think we can score down there and I don't think they will score 3 against us. Any more predictions Cliff :)
