Typical, new budget airline Jet2 decide to fly twice a day Leeds/Amsterdam starting in February! Shame Dublin's come up now - can't possibly make it as I'll have spent up in Holland. Nice to see a few new people on here - remember if you want to appear in 'white', just email CMoS (if he's not in one of his psychedelic moods otherwise god knows what you will end up in). PS. In the mid 70s I had one bad summer holiday when I tried shoplifting. Retired a couple of weeks later never having been caught. I wasn't a proper shoplifter though. I would buy Airfix kits and borrow a couple of tins of paint or change the price tag. I also used to buy one magazine and get one free. I should have patented that idea. How my dad thought my pocket money could go so far was beyond me. Anyway my friend did get caught and tried to drop me in it so I got out while the going was good. Must have 'borrowed' about £5 in 1970's money.

Great to see Jackie and Mickey mentioning the Fire engines. wasnt their LP called:'Lubricate your livingroom' or so. I remember holding it in my hand as it had a remarkable sleeve, always regretted never buying it. Supportact for Holland will be a punkband called Misselijk, their style is mid-tempo: Buzzcocks, SLF-like. Apparently quite good. A friend of mine mixed their first single and the singer and drummers are friends from friends of mine. The drummer is kind of known here as an author and newspaper-columnist

The amsterdam concert will have quite an early start, expect the band on stage at 21 hours. apparentley quite some people form out of town are expected who have to travel back by train.
