hi absolutely fantastic website.the details is incredible and brings back so many memories.my dad worked at a youth club around 1979 when punk was massive in the uk.i asked for punk albums for christmas,so not wanting to buy me sex pistols or angelic upstarts,he decide on the undertones.a safe bet he thought.boring i thought.how wrong.the album was fantastic and started me off as a huge fan ever since.i have all of their singles apart from when saturday comes, which i hunted all over for.i have at home a six track video release from the fan club from around the time of the split.anyay, fantastic site.please keep up the good work.regards and merry christmas!

Never bought a lottery ticket in my life. Why would I volunteer to pay the Government 50% tax. The money to buy the car is from my redundancy payment last year. I need a new car to drive me to all these concerts I hope our favourite group will tell me about on Saturday. Only two days to go as well. Who says Christmas doesn't come twice a year.

I wouldn't call Mjallby poncey, Petta I could agree with. The only Glaswegian involved was the sleazy peice of shit from the Daily Ranger. Had it been in Edinburgh the could have harpooned him with some of the plentiful syringes lying around.

Re the money that footballers get - I went to the Hawthorns on Tuesday to get some tickets and asked about taking my boys to see the players training over the Christmas break. I wanted to be sure that if we turned up there would be someone there as there are a lot of games over the next few weeks. Very seriously the receptionist told me 'Of course - they should be there every day apart from on match days. They EVEN have to come in Christmas day as if it was a normal day'. So what's a normal day I asked - 10.30 - 12.30. All I could muster as I pondered on the salaries these days was 'It's a hard life!' Strangely she wasn't too impressed at my flippancy.

Will see what I can do re the photo's but it's not a pretty sight - and you all promise you will send in your funny photo's don't you? YEAH RIGHT!!! I'm sure I can trust you all.

stote007 on 16:26 19th-Dec-02 GMT #8ae-18303
Wilke, I think you mean me when you refer to stote02. Its Paul by the way, thats just my internet provider's login name. I don't think we met in Amsterdam although there was someone who introduced himself as the man behind the punkinderry website - but I think that's Mickey Rooney. In any case, I was on the raised bit by the bar at the back, taking it all in having exhausted myself the night before.

Liam on 16:36 19th-Dec-02 GMT #777-18304
Vinny whats the story on the pre gig entertainment that we spoke about?

Derek on 16:46 19th-Dec-02 GMT #54b-18305
Cliff. Send me your address. I've got two addresses for you and don't know which one to send the cheque to for the t-shirts. That is if I can find my cheque book. Not seen it since Amsterdam. Happy christmas folks.

Lindsay @ on 17:56 19th-Dec-02 GMT #1db-18306

Saw John O`Neill shopping around Foyleside in Derry today but I just thought he`d appreciate the privacy and I didn`t get in his way.

Ernie on 23:40 19th-Dec-02 GMT #772-18310
I`ll be at the Undertones gig next week, anybody else going? Will be dining at the Manderin Palace on Lower Clarendon Street before the gig! Anybody been there before ?

Liam on 23:52 19th-Dec-02 GMT #96e-18311
Yeah Ernie I've been there a couple of times. It's not bad. But if you want a really good Chinese you whoudl try the Water Fortune on Clooney Terrace (Well worth crossing the bridge for!). Great week coming up - No work - Christmas - and an Undertones gig.
