Just back from the annual sojourn to England - highlight of the trip, playing the Teenage Kicks compilation in the car on the way there and my 8 year old son, Sean-Paul, falling for it. Bought him The Undertones for 4.95 in the HMV sale and he's been singing Jimmy Jimmy ever since. Another one saved for the cause...

Loudest gig i ever went to? It must have been OMD. I was deaf for 2 days and the concert was so loud, it headlined the papers the next day as the staff in the hall all leaved their posts because of the volume and the (classical) concerts in the other halls in this musichouse had to be stopped because of the volume of OMD; agree with Jackie about volume being great: went to see radiohead last year and didnt like it coz I could speak to my friends during the gig, that's no good
