17th of Feb. is the official release date for the Moondogs Peel Sessions CD. The 16 page booklet is crammed with lots of photos, group history and an into. from Uncle John. The songs are fairly rockin' too!

Luke C beat me to the news - hope Gerry doesn't mind me passing on the following from an email from him 'Paul Robinson from Detour has said that the MOONDOGS Peel sessions will be released on Febuary the 17th. We will be doing some gigs in March/April.Will keep you informed. Gerry. Can't wait!!!!

great news on the Moondogs! Really lookin forward to this great, energetic album and to see this great band live! Just noted that Teenage Kicks was no. 85 in the alltime top102 of listeners of TodayFM in Dublin, this was a generals list also including U2,Queen,Beatles, Elvis etc!!!

talking of Vinnys film, I watched it again tonight.The first few minutes is really quite personal for me...the kids playing football over the park reminds me of my childhood and then John Peel introducing 'TK' and those first few notes still make the hairs stand on end.I ended up watching it all.

Cliff, I know what you mean about Vinny's film. Once you start to watch it, there's no way you can turn it off! Your thinking just goes the way of that Gina G. song ... Yes I WILL turn it off after the next bit, oh I can't miss THIS, I'll just watch a little bit more... and before you know it the credits are rolling. I'm the same with the Titanic video, except that involves twice the length of time avoiding the housework!

I would dearly love to see the Moondogs this year. Re-creating the most memorable night of my life (30/4/80) would be the best thing ever.
