I'm having one of those crap days at work, where if something can go wrong it will. Nothing but bloody problems. How I wish I was on a half-term break. The only saving grace is that the boss is out of the office, not adding to my workload. Well that's my 5 minute lunch over, back to work.

We are going live on the new site tonight at 9.00. Fingers crossed.

How cool will that be! I need something to cheer me up- Davids company announced they were going under yesterday. However- always look on the bright side of life! :-))

The day didn't get any better. Got home to find a letter from the CSA effectively telling me under the new maintenance system my payments will double as housing costs are not taken into consideration. And the new website is not up and running today either! Who was the 'word from above' from Liam? I know James Nesbitt referred to John O'Neill as being god in human form. I thought that was just artistic licence. Thanks for the CDs Donald.

What's wrong with the post service in England? Ordered the Moondogs cd Monday - raced home both last night and tonight expecting it to have arrived and nothing! Must be tomorrow.

Re the Springsteen standing in for Strummer gig - the following is from an email I got from Norman Rodger from Tv21 who is a big Springsteen fan - Yeah, apparently he's doing a couple of shows, the Hall of Fame thing and some charity show in LA, with Steve Van Zandt joining in as well. Doubtless, the Springsteen crowd that I subscribe to will have it online within minutes of the show ending, so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Sorry, lee but I really dont like Bruce Springsteen at all, and the idea of a band that never sold out, and gave up millions because of principles being joined on stage with him and Steve van Zanst just seems wrong. i know a lot of music fans think Springsteen is a kind of modern day American Folk Singer/poet with a real consicience etc But to me he is just a big tosser. I must have had a bad day , but not as bad as Georges and Jackis by the sound of things. Hope news get better soon - how about the new website.

It must be the full moon. Cliff's team lost 3 goals in 5 minutes tonight. Strangely I've had a good day. Never liked Springsteen either. Leaves me cold - except Born to Run which is pretty good. Moondogs, TV21 - no comment!
