Apparently the Rezillos Derry gig is put back until the summer with the Teenage Lobotomies in support. Anyone who is going to the London or Cork gigs and would like to write a review for the official site then give me shout.

Theres another CD being advertised on CH4, a compilation of Irish music with the Undertones(I'll bet its 'teenage kicks').

If its confirmed the Undertones are on at 1.30(ish)then I'm gonna be there, find a pub and watch the match after.Its not the same as being there but atleast this way I get to see both...If only the band were on an hour earlier I could have belted up the motorway....

Just playing the best of the Skids (Thanks Wilke). Wonderful stuff - but even after all these years I can only pick out 1 or 2 words that I can understand. One of the finest collections of the late '70's bands I'd say.

All these changes to the time of the gig, let's hope it is still Sunday! Hopefully we will get a definite time before I leave on Sunday. As it is I am having to drive my car 30 mile to get to the station. Not looking forward to the 30 mile drive home on the night.

Absolute Game is a perfect LP BTW,has a winterfeel to it as I tend to play it in winter only. At that time I was probably the only one in Holland buying it, as I got a numbered copy, handwritten by the recordcompany with 'special import' stickers

It is a pity but I wont make the 2 gigs as well, but Holland is perfectly represented by Stote007(Paul) in Cork and ofcourse our country has the privilege that the Undertones will pay a visit in may/june. All my arrangements I am making for that month are made under one condition:'If the undertones play that day, the appointment is off.'
