Fear not Jackie Lass - you can fly howay(!) Newcastle to Stanstead return via Easyjet (23 May ret 25 May)- take Ryanair to Berlin on 23 - Easyjet back to Stansteadfrom Munich on 25 May for approx £50 each way. Of course you'll have to let the kids you teach run wild but you could always buy some form of electrified fence to keep them under control. Leave a bit of water out and straw. I'm sure their parents won't miss them and it shouldn't be that messy when you return

hi try today to see if there were any flights to munich from belfast 98 pound was the only one i could find .its my birthday on the 26 of may so i might get maureen to get it for me .ps note must be very good to maureen over the next few days t ssy

Current thinking is Frankfurt on Wednesday and Munich on Saturday - both in the motor! Frankfurt's easy - 4 hours. Munich's a challenge - 7/8 hours!!

Wilke: Try Derry to Stansted and then Stansted out, or Belfast to London and then out. Hang on though as Holland hasn't been confirmed yet and this may happen before the German gigs. I'll know more soon.

Holland would be easier but would prefer the week after as I'm on half term. Fussy arent I ?!!!!

Great news on germany, still waitin for dutch gigs to be announced. Probably only will make frankfurt which is a 3 hour drive, other gigs are on my daughter's birthday or on the day of our annual village-fest which I'm co-organising
