I did see the UEFA Cup t-shirts.I thought it was a bit crude the way they just drew a line thru 'Champions League' and wrote 'UEFA Cup' in its place.Still it saved making new ones I suppose. ;-))

Spent an hour in Glasgow at teatime before my long drive home. I had planned to take a photo at the home of scottish football but I couldn't find Ibrox. Anyway the batteries in my camera had run out. Did walk along Sauchiehall Street. I definitely saw the Undertones play some theatre/pictures there but couldn't remember where it was. No doubt it will be converted into a shop/offices now. I did want to visit Parkhead Alex, honest, but where I parked my car next to Cowcaddens fire station it was too easy just to join the M8 East and head straight back home. Didn't have a street map either.

The HMV in Sauchiehall Street has some bargains, or atleast they seemed cheap compared to local record store. Best of Simple Minds double CD £7.99, Blondie Parallel Lines £3.99, Simple Minds Sons and Fascination £4.99. I managed to drive 160 miles listening to it.

The only thing they dont sell in Glasgow is soap George. Was it Tiffany's Ballroom in Sauchihall St George, I saw them on the Sin of Pride Tour there.
