Yorkshire dialect is easy - we don't need words, we just slap anyone who gets in our way. Actions speak louder and all that.. The Buzzcocks got a good write up at Shepherds Bush (no complaints about the sound either, although maybe he had to type the review cos he was suffering temporary deafness).

I missed the start of the IQ test but got all the maths and jigsaw questions right. At the end when they were giving you the answers I got the majority right before Anne Robinson revealed the answer. She would be useless without her autocue. I see being teetotal is supposed to make me less intelligent. I thought Alex was trying to overtake Cliff's posting tally with his tale. It's a pity with having to scroll down the page you get to read the punchline first.

Has anyone else got Red Fish yet? You know when you have a strong album when each time you play it you end up with a different favourite. Even with only 1 song that I wasn't familiar with I haven't stopped playing the album and each time end something else has caught my attention. From the pop genius of Bring on the Sunshine, with hints of the keyboard sound from Here Comes the Summer, to the track Julius mentioned, Oh No (Wonderful strings sound in the mix reminding me of the Beatles sound) and a batch of equally superb power pop classics such as I Only Called in to say Hi, How Can I Tell Her, It Feels so Good......The mix of the tracks also makes them stand out so if anyone downloaded them way back on the Moondogs site they are far better than those versions.

So when's the latest estimate for release of the Undertones album?

30 years ago today that Sunderland won the FA Cup. Saw the punk tribute band this afternoon. The encore lasted almost an hour. It almost ended up being a request show. They still can't play Jimmy Jimmy properly. Haven't the heart to point out all their mistakes. Just pleased they still include one Undertones song in the set.

Is CMoS going to have to update the 60 minutes when the new album comes out?
