Just been back to John Peel tuesday session to play Thrill Me. Brilliant first time I heard it and still getting better all the time. Except had tiff with eldest daughter who objected to the volume cos' she was playing some game/challenge on the new Harry Potter DVD. Told her any more complaints and the DVD would be shoved where the sun don't shine. The youth of today.

wilke sorry i cant look at your email and I cant get any email at the moment as the server is down. Will have to wait til David gets back to fix it. He phoned me today standing on the corner of Broadway and 36th Street outside Macys. Checking to see which colour Chanel sunglasses I want (!!) I could hear the yellow cabs honking in the background. He was going to phone me from the top of the Empire State but when he got there, there was no signal! Later on he sent me a text to say he'd been into the NBA shop opposite Tiffany. God, if only I was there, I'd be in shopping heaven!

wilke I listened to the Sin of Pride today, some of the tracks I've not heard for about 15 years....I dont think I must have appreciated this LP at the time, as it sounded so new. Perhaps that was just my poor quality stereo then, or has it been remastered since? I dont remember all the STRINGS!!! BRASS!!BACKING VOCALS!!! (female!) However I did remember ALL the lyrics word perfect. Your kids were not the only ones complaining about Undertones music this afternoon George! Thanks again wilke.

I saw a band from Manchester last night called I Am Kloot. I know them from Manchester - a three piece, bass, drums and acoustic guitar and vocals and they were fantastic - if you get a chance, see them.

Arthur, I heard that band live on Radio Ulster when I was out getting my petrol last night for going to the NW200 this morning, don't start me! They were excellent! You mentioned them before. I loved the bit when he said they hired their drum kit from TOYZ ARE US!! Great live band. Talk soon.

Great gig tonight by THE MOONDOGS, lovely mix of old and new. Hard to guage the size of the crowd because of the layout of The Gweedore but it seemed like a very good one! Their new single is a VERY catchy tune, both on CD and live!! I can see the video, at least I saw it tonight with a few pints in me!!
