Just got my copy of the Moondogs album. I can’t believe how the band has managed to retain that youthful energy, optimism, and excitement. They don’t sound a day older than they did 22 years ago. Apart from the serious subject matters in ‘Getting Off in Amsterdam’ and ‘ The Boy who Used to Sing’, the album brims with positivity and joyousness. I swear that anyone who hears ‘Bring On The Sunshine’ will not be able to resist bouncing around and singing along. I’m grinning from ear to ear after hearing this album. Fantastic album. I'm so glad they're back.

I agree Rick. If Bring on the Sunshine doesn't make you optimistic and thinking joyously of summer then you either live in the Antarctic and don't appreciate summer anyway or have just realised you can't get to the Undertones gigs at the last minute. Sorry Cliff but never mind. There will be more along soon I'm sure. Rick - did you get the promo single with Everyday Things on it? If not email me.

Wilke - thanks for the package the other day. It's great. I emailed you last night. Did you get it? Have to check because while it's been fine for a while I too used to have trouble emailing you. Sorry - I do try to not live an breathe the Moondogs every second of the day but things just keep popping up in the brain. They did a gig last Saturday which must have gone well because the venue want them back in the future.

Still not been able to set up the turntable to play the new single. Must do that this evening.

saw 2 great soundchecks, one without damian one with damian , damian and gerge were quite late, the club in koln is small, your average pub is bigger!!!

Can also confirm that George's german is crap!!! Julius is rescuing us incompentent English! Just an hour to go and then it all begins - think of us jealously!!!!

Missed the soundchecks (waiting for George who was smoozing with the band while I hung around Cologne Station). Should be an excellent gig especially since they are playing new songs, and I have taken Cliff´s tip and am wearing trousers with an elasticated waistband )Rock n roll or what.

Anyone know how to split an MP3 file into smaller bits? I can do this easily in Nero so when I got the whole of the Peel show as 1 file from Cactus started to try to split it so I could copy it on to a cd and play it in the car - only to find Nero is a bit elitist and only supports top quality files. Easy CD Creator doesn't seem to give me an option to do it either so unless someone's get any bright ideas I've got to sit at the pc for 2 hours!
