Lindsay the Guidford festival is a 3 day event. Other bands on the Saturday include Madness, the Stranglers and Skin. I have just sent off for tickets for the Friday night (Alice Cooper, Love, Wildhearts) and hadn't bothered with the rest of the week-end as the 'official' web site were adamant the Undertones weren't playing. You can buy individual day tickets but I can't be bothered now to resend my application and will just travel to Brighton for the Sunday night.

By 'official' I mean the official Undertones site. I'm a bit pissed off as I had heard 10 days ago by people involved in the festival that they were playing and said so on this site only to be slapped down and told they weren't. Well now they are here's one fan who won't be seeing them that day now as I've already sent off my application for tickets.

Rick: Here's the story; it was being talked about, then it was OFF and then this week the band's manager came to an agreement with the organisers of the Festival!! Who knows what goes on behind the scenes! Have you rang them and asked them about changing your ticket?

It was 20 years ago today...! The Undertones played their last headlining show with Feargal.

During the big brother ad break last night, Here Comes the Summer used to advertise cricket/npower- let the royalty cheques roll!!

The Lyceum- afterwards I walked down the Strand thinking how sad I'd never see the Undertones again...got to admit doesnt seem like 20 years- more like 30!

Have received the video tape Arthur. Thanks. Didn't get as much stick at running club as I expected. Strange though how some people will go to see Bruce Springsteen at Manchester and think nothing about singing 'Born in the USA' at the top of their voice, whilst I get stick for singing 'Teenage Kicks', apart from me being tone deaf of course.
