I'll not know about Guildford or Brighton until I find out if I have the children that weekend. It is a long way to go. Problem will be getting back to work after the Brighton gig, without using up a day of holiday. Don`t forget to check the newspage of the website to get all the festival dates they`re playing this summer! Jackie on 19:15 1st-Jun-03 GMT #63f-21790 Guildford would mean getting up at 6.30am to catch a 7.30 train, underground across London to Waterloo, catch train to Guildford, leave gig at approx 5.15pm to catch train back to London (no leeway if band are late) back across to Kings Cross to catch 7pm train (very tight margins there!) to arrive back at Newcastle at 10.15pm then £10 taxi home....arrive home about 10.40pm.Like you say Lindsay, lot of hassle for 1 hour slot. Now if we knew about any other dates planned we could decide if it was worth it... donald on 20:31 1st-Jun-03 GMT #3d5-21792 If Guilford was a full gig I would be more likely to go, likewise taking Monday off after Brighton would be difficult. Shame Brighton wasnt the Saturday as Brighton is a great place to spend the w/e. One of the problems with all the dates is the relatively short notice thats given - 4 or 6 weeks maximum at best. Guilford would have been a record for notice if it hadnt been denied then confirmed again!
