Lindsay, my idea was read out in the early 80's, and was to record four songs in a day, release them as an EP (complete with fold around poster), and send it to John Peel... apparently, someone had already done it in 1978, though?! Seriously though, I'm too ashamed to say - but I do have the whole horrific episode on video!

The Peel Sessions CD has been shelved until next year now. However... 'Song Number 1' is an early version of 'Like That'. Cliff, have you never heard 'Romeo & Juliet', then?

I was at Celtic Park today changing my season ticket seat. The guy says do you want to go in and see the new seat, Okely says I, superb wandering about on the pitch, he even let me sit in the dug out.Wish i'd taken a camera the guy thought I was a bit loopy. Got a new phone today too with TK polyphonic ring tone. Think I'll go for a drink to celebrate :)

..Just back from taking 60 kids to a local wildlife centre in the middle of thunderstorms which began at 5.30am and are still rumbling as I type..great stuff!! How many days til end of term??

Jackie on 17:37 17th-Jun-03 GMT #63f-22049
The clouds were definately not made of candy floss today ;-)

Just heard that Red Fish ought to be available in the England next month.

Thanks Alex. I got to hear about half a minute of white horses before the media connection failed. 33 e-mails today and everyone of them spam. I usually get at least one valid message, even if it is just to tell me I have been outbid on e-bay. Brilliant thunderstorm at 5am today. Almost worth being woken up for.

Didn't rain on me all day!

Great link Alex. White Horses; watch for the thrashy guitar solo. Why Don't You is also there. The Who inspired Jamie and the Magic Torch too. And the horrible Double Deckers! Probably have nightmares tonight now.

Travelled through Upton Park station today. Sigh. West Ham's team are all local lads you know. I am so tired. Stayed up to almost 4am last night playing stupid computer games. Lifestyle of a 14 year old. Very sad. 19 days to B-Day. 4 days until I go on holiday; can't wait.

Cliff on 23:24 17th-Jun-03 GMT #5d7-22055
I didn't have a clue what 'white horses' was until I played the music, now I remember, my sister loved it.I know its far more recent but I liked 'in bed with medinner', introduced by Bob somebody.'Cheers' is great theme music.
