As an afterthought, for the Thistle fans. I had a drink with Alan Cowan. Not a 'Tones fan but he apologised for the appalling spelling and grammar of the dual personality players/managers that sometimes appear on this site. And the other thing he said was was 'anyone that doesn't have their name highlighted and talks about Partick Thistle is probably a bit of a tit' Fair comment I think. Shut the door behind you :) Cliff on 08:51 21st-Jun-03 GMT #5d7-22101 I have a soft spot for Partick Thistle as about 5 years ago they used to sell my products in their club shop. One of them was a shirt commemorating the '72 LCF, which according to Kenny Dalglish they were lucky to win, eh, 4-1. Cliff on 09:43 21st-Jun-03 GMT #71b-22102 Anyone in the London or South East area who wants a lift to Brighton, let me know.Havent decided yet whether to drive back the same night, obviously would mean no booze. stote007 on 18:50 21st-Jun-03 GMT #c52-22103 Amazon are offering 'Get What You Need' with a 4 August release date. Has a catalogue number although its not mentioned on the Sanctuary Records website. The new Peel Session album is also offered on Amazon on 28 July - this confirmed on the Sanctuary website - tracklisting as earlier on this site. Cliff on 18:51 21st-Jun-03 GMT #a6c-22104 Have you got a link Stote? stote007 on 18:58 21st-Jun-03 GMT [213.86.53.189/artist_details.asp] #cc0-22105 That's Sanctuary Records - Amazon coming up. stote007 on 19:00 21st-Jun-03 GMT #cc0-22106 http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000008LVP/qid=1056217187/sr=1-19/ref=sr_1_2_19/202-5239334-6150257 is too long to go in the website space! stote007 on 19:02 21st-Jun-03 GMT #cc0-22107 BTW Brighton looking increasingly tempting. 72 hour return with SeaFrance for €76! Anyone know the stage times? The last ferry is 0045, means leaving Brighton at around 2245 latest. Cliff on 19:23 21st-Jun-03 GMT #6a9-22108 Dont know the stage times but I'll be very surprised if their off as early as that. Cliff on 19:25 21st-Jun-03 GMT #6a9-22109 Talking about stuff from the 70's...England had a pretty crap rugby team in those days. Two successive wins over New Zealand and then today in Australia would have been unheard of, and 13 in a row in total, great stuff. George on 20:20 21st-Jun-03 GMT #17d-22110 If the new LP is out on 4th August what are the chances of being able to buy a copy at Waterford the night before? Lindsay on 22:53 21st-Jun-03 GMT #549-22111 Oh to be in Waterford. Wonder how the gig's going. Wilke, how did Maureen get on with Westlife? Has she got her hearing back from all the deafening whistles? It's ridiculous that the noise levels at these pop concerts could even rival many punk gigs. Not good for the young kids. I was almost deaf for two days in one ear after Boyzone. Lindsay on 22:54 21st-Jun-03 GMT #549-22112 Are you going to Waterford in August now George? Lindsay on 23:01 21st-Jun-03 GMT #549-22113 Can't find any reference to the album on Amazon. Anyone else succumbed to Harry Potter fever? Jamie is on p.205 already! He did read the first book long before the hype took over so he can be forgiven for being a fan. Can't see what all the fuss is about myself, it's only a bloody book. Same as Beckham, he's only a bloody footballer. The world's gone mad.
